Who the hell cares which side of the ball they were on?

He may be an idiot, but we fired Miles for those very types of losses

There is no defense of the UF game

This. And if the events unfolded as described by Hanny, it is even more objectionable.

What did he say about it? Hadn't heard.

Again, that's simply not true.

- Guice had 19 carries, Leonard had 12 carries.

- Guice had 21 carries vs Arkansas, which was enough to get him 250 yards.

- Guice had more carries vs UF than he did in 8 of the other 10 games.

WT21

That was a damn strong post.

I think Coach O is about to put together a Dream Team of coaches at LSU. Great leaders surround themselves with great people.

He was running great and sat the bench for a quarter plus.

We hired a DL coach that no other school wanted and whose only HC experience was a failure.

So if we ever fail at anything in life, we shouldn't be given another chance at our dream job. Okay!!! Then maybe thank the boss, the wife, anyone in our lives who gave us a second chance.

I'm not trying to talk about you, or anyone for that matter. I'm just saying everyone deserves a second chance. Hell, some people get too many chances in life and blow all of them.

Good post. I've sort of followed the same thought process after being less than thrilled initially.

Looking forward to the bowl game and preparations, finding a new OC, the end of the recruiting cycle, and the future.

Outside of one 20 yard run, he had 18 carries for 63 yards.

That is 3.5 yards per carry. He averaged 9 yards per carry outside of that game.

I don't think that is "great"...

It is true. The numbers here dont support your argument

You think youre making a point but this information doesnt support your argument

This whole dream job thing is funny. Sorry but the LSU coaching job is more than just granting O his 'dream job'. And do a little research on that dream job and O connection

How so?

People are acting like Guice didn't get the ball enough. They weren't complaining when he had 17 carries vs Missouri or 21 carries vs Arkansas.

He got the ball plenty of times.

Jesus dude we are talking about the FLorida game.

Players, no matter how great they are, shouldnt dictate whether they play or not. The coach needs to be the coach. Miles and O have shown that they will cave in and listen to their star player.

You think Saban would be trotting out his star player if he knew he was hurt? No

Oh my God. Nice straw man post. We really aren't the preeminent program I thought we were. We're now Second Chance U for coaches who have failed at their previous stops. That's just great.
