QB- Howard

I stay right here, right now: Howard will not be the starter as a true freshman

BK will find someone in the portal if a true freshman is the best option.

TE Johnson

Wouldn’t be shocked if Mashburn ends up the #1 TE and becomes very productive in BKs offense.

Max struggled this year but don't give up on him… I have been critical of him at times, but we'll see what different coaching does for him

I was really down on Max but he proved a lot on that last drive vs aTm.

I think with the right coaching he might end up a very good college QB.

I actually meant to put him first. It’s funny that people say he struggled when he throw for almost 3000 yards and had a 27/6 td/int ratio. We would have killed for that during the Miles years. He also did that with buku injuries, the worst offensive coaching staff in the sec and probably the worst offensive line. Give that dude average in those categories and he takes off. Will he be Burrow? No but if our defense plays like it has been the past 4 games, we won’t need him to be Burrow.

Johnson is a solid QB. I will wait to judge him whenever he isn't under a terrible coordinator.

Shouldn’t the same logic apply to Nuss?

I’m not saying I think Nuss was the answer this year, or even that I think he’s the answer next year. But he, like Johnson, will be playing for a new OC next year. He will also have the benefit of no longer being a true freshman.

I don’t know who is going to be our starting QB next fall, but I would bet money that there’s a real QB competition this spring and possibly into fall camp.

What makes you think Gibbs is even considering LSU?

Be nice, these are young people. You have no idea of these player's development. I mean, Urban Meyer missed!

Nothing in particular. I guess just wishful thinking. If TDP returns I think we will be fine at RB. 2023 will be loaded in state and I think we snag a few.

I do think Brule makes a ton of sense because he is from LA and we have snaps to be had at LB. Also OL, I feel Kelly will be hitting up the portal for certain positions.

Having watched both Nuss and Johnson it was clear to me that Max was better. If max plays vs Arky we win that game. Those are just my opinions tho..
Max did play against Arkansas. He blew easy opportunities which is why Nuss played the rest of the game.

Bradford is God awful at LT, at least Dellinger gets in their way, they all just turn the corner against Bradford every time. He can kick rocks
