he had some valid observations. didn't really get what he was trying to say about recruiting.
let's face it - when miles has the talent, he can go up against anyone. if we are a real underdog team-wise, miles is not going to coach his team up to win.

There are so many generalizations in your thread that are typical for this type of argument, but that is nothing new. Your statement about the 4 and 5 star recruits from Alabama is freaking ridiculous. First of all, the state of Alabama isn't traditionally loaded with elite talent. We've pulled our share from there, but to think that hiring a guy to focus on pulling Alabama HS recruits would be a good idea is retarded. You have to beat out two SEC schools and all of the other schools that would offer the 4 and 5 star guys. If we focus on LA and sprinkle in Texas, Georgia and Florida... we are good. That's exactly what Miles has done.
