No one said it was his fault, and if he chose to sacrifice his own health because he didn't want to risk not playing, then that's a choice he made. It comes with the territory that if you have health issues that prevent you from practicing, that someone is going to have to take your spot. That's just Kelly being honest with him, not pressuring him not to take care of himself. I'd imagine every coach in America would tell him the same thing.
No doubt. When a player is injured or sick and can't practice or play, another player steps in his place. Happens all the time. This is not new news.

Baton Rogue?? C'mon ABC News!!!!
my immediate reaction to the abc news reel was to end the video as I will not watch anything abc news is involved with.
these lying manipulative bastards that claim to be journalists can not be trusted.
they have been lying to the American people for decades. totally untrustworthy venomous snakes.
the comments here on TD's regarding Greg Brooks and his health whether true or not is heart-wrenching surely a difficult situation to have to deal with.
I'm sure his family is concerned for their son.
they will need much prayer for Greg and Lord willing have a positive outcome.

It’s pathetic to sue the school and blame the coach for a health condition. Don’t come around here posting crap like this. The family’s attempt at a pay day is nothing less than low life classless character.

Who would not have thought he was having migraines when he was have nausea and vomiting on the daily? Migraines are super common and present just like that. As far as surgery, and the cancer comparing him to the young girl who was a surviver not really fair. A lot of people die from it because depending on where in the brain and how big it is, surgery isn’t a good option. Awful situation, but unlikely the cancer or the bad outcome is LSU’s fault in my opinion. Would really need to see all the evidence from both sides and talk to real experts. I imagine they thought he had migraines until they didn’t and then they escalated. Until I see other wise, I’ll suspect this is a bad piece by abc making it more interesting by making LSU a villain and a family doing due diligence on the money front because they are not just emotionally crushed, but care for the rest of his life is financially crushing. Awful situation and prayers to Greg brooks and his family.

That's fine that you think that.
A judge will not.

Why is your little cousin suing LSU?

The biggest issue is being told he had vertigo for over a month.
They were supposed to do a brain scan on day 1? Man a lot of people in this world are sick for a month before something else is looked into. People should be saying, thankfully they found it in a month and not any longer. What if Greg was an average student. He would have gotten diagnosed with migraines and sent on his way to study. Being a football player got him access a whole lot quicker. Hate the way everything happened to him, fricking awful to see. Had his whole life in front of him, but man sometimes you get the shite end of the stick. Hopefully he can gain a lot more functionality and live a full life.

Does anyone know the doctor(s) that performed the surgery?
Dr Moises Ariaga and Dr Kelly Scrantz removed my brain tumor at OLOL in 2015.

The doctor is named in the lawsuit. I don't remember his name.

I don't remember seeing it in this thread, but didn't LSU start a fund for Greg? I seem to remember contributing to it and that a substantial amount of money was raised. Not that it is enough money to pay in full for his treatment, but it was a start. Does anyone remember this?

Dr. Gaynor, neurosurgeon with the neuromedical center
OLOL utilizes the neuromedical center for neurology/neurosurgery
Gordon's firm takes on about 90% of the neuromedical center cases
They will settle but they won't win with negligence
I'm also here to say that Greg's father is a clown. Dr. Gaynor removes brain tumors all the time so him saying that he was "not qualified" for the procedure is an all-time ignorant statement but i can understand his anger
Prayers to Greg!

why? anger that his son was dealt a bad genetic hand, or mad because he sees a potential gravy train pulling out of the depot?

Nevermind. Judge Tiffany Foxworth-Roberts.
Good luck.
Good luck.
