My opinion is Hurd is a better pitcher than Floyd. Especially the last few weeks.

Floyd has been much more consistent and reliable throughout the season. Save him for game 3.

I still really want to believe Jones can get back to where he was through the midway point of the SEC season, but I’m not sure they can risk it. Maybe Tulane is just bad enough to give him one last shot.

Someone else must pitch and beat tulane. Hurd will be needed to save skenes or floyd in late innings. Or we go 2-2 and lose our own regional. Tulane has 40 loses. Use blake money and whoever to mop it up. Oregon State will beat us once for sure if our bp doesnt show up as usual.

I would not pitch Floyd on Friday unless we have to put extra emphasis on not suffering the embarrassment of losing to Tulane.
