Not this bad. I was hear for both and it wasn't this bad.
Super disappointed. I keep hearing "we are coming" blah blah. They are coming too.

Walking around the warehouse district, I'd say it's 80% lsu fans
Lsu fans know that there is a lot more to nola than Bourbon.

I live in the city. I will be there all day tomorrow and at the game. I would expect to see a purple and gold take over.

not at a cheap motel ... country inn and suites in the quarter (or is it considered warehouse?)
anyway, I do understand the short drive thing .. it's almost 3 hours for us and we as parents of 3 kids with a 20th anniversary coming up needed and wanted this getaway!
So, we're about to head out ... hopefully it will be a sea of purple and gold.
And I'm more saying that I wish there had been availability at the team hotel ... or an mostly LSU spot but you never know.

There is a large portion of the LSU fan base not willing to invest in a rematch that we won in the first place. I'm one of them. Was there in 03 and 07, but not this year.

I live 15 minutes from downtown. Nothing downtown I haven't seen yet. No need for me to be there yet. I'll be rolling in sometime in the morning among many in Tiger Nation.
Understand that tomorrow is a weekday. Some people are gonna work before invading the city too. It's very convenient to have this game in our back yard.

The only time I remember there being a ton of LSU fans on Bourbon was after the game in 03' or 07'. Most LSU fans aren't going to be first timers or tourists in New Orleans, so they aren't going to spend very much time on Bourbon especially days before a game. I bet this time tomorrow people will be seeing a little different proportion of fans.

Where the frick are all the tiger fans?
You know how I can tell you people are bandwagon fans. We live close so we aren't going out there a week early. 2007 was the same thing. They had Ohio state fans everywhere than the day of the game it was all LSU. Calm down people it will not be 50-50

This same thread was started 2007. People were amazed how it appeared there were more Ohio St fans in the quarter in the days prior to the game.....The reasons it looks this way have already been pointed.

Yup. Our group is going tomorrow morning. Our job is not to win the weekend it's to help our team win the game.

Chill out people. It was like this for 2003 and 2007 championships. Tiger fans will outnumber them tomorrow.

We were outnumbered in 2007 until game day. There were a shitload of OSU fans there.

Also don't forget that 100% of Gumps in the city are decked out in maroon shirts, maroon shoes, maroon overalls, and houndstooth hats. While not every LSU fan is in purple yet. So it just seems like a lot more of them because they're more visible.
