The dumbest comparison I’ve ever seen on Tiger droppings and that’s saying something.
What are you talking about? Both coaches are very buttoned up in front of the media but will go red faced behind the scenes? In what way does that not compare?

Kelly yelled because Nuss did not go through his progression. He went "One Mississippi" and then slung the ball. I watched the play...he had time to make several looks before throwing. Check, check, throw or go. Mostly nerves and not wanting to make a mistake. Typical of many young QBs who are yet unable to let the game come to them.

Anyone with a brain, knows Nuss deserved to be "coached up" after that play. Anyone who has been around sports knows you want a coach doing that versus not giving a crap about the kid.
People can bring other plays up, dropped passes, JD. It doesn't matter. That individual play, Nuss needed that.
Nice try Mrs Nussmeier. That's why he walked straight to the bench nowhere near the coach, right?
The kid was fully aware that he pussied out on the play and wanted to be as far away from being called out on it as possible.

, this begs the question: what in the world happened in Spring and Fall camps that led our coaches to believe Brennan was behind Daniels and Nuss.

Completely different when the QB knows the d can't touch him. Those live bullets aren't for everyone. Perhaps Nuss is soft.

agreed.. Niuss threw one poor pass and BK jumps on him. What about the 3 drops by his receivers.
I'd be pretty frustrated too if my receiver ran an out pattern 5 yds short of the first down. I may have thrown in out of bounds also. Why take a chance on it getting tipped and intercepted. OB was the safest throw on that pitiful route. BK should be yelling at his receivers coach and OC.

Mine was him yelling at the defense after another long gain by Auburn: "Do Your Job!" Needs to apply to the offensive coaching staff as well.....

Under no circumstances should anyone lay the responsibility at the feet of the player who actually erred. Is that correct?
"Everybody else fricked up so why are you yelling at me?"
With all those awful players around him and all those mean coaches - and the terrible things that could go wrong because of them - WhyTF even take the field? Too bad it wasn't a Bowl Game, eh?
Look, baws. I'm on the side of whoever is playing QB for LSU. For the record, I don't think Nuss is a pussy.
But I do believe the "QB" who posted here is one.

I didn't understand why coach was yelling at him. If the pass is completed its still a good 5 yards short of a first down.

If you watch the sky cast of the game, it appears Mason was not the primary receiver, but was designed to pull the DB to him as another receiver slipped behind him wide open. Nuss got rid of the ball well before he needed to, to the wrong receiver and likely was panicking somewhat. Thus the growth the f up from BK.

Wonder if he yells at Daniels that way?

One of the harder lessons I had to learn as a coach…. They don’t all respond to the same “motivation”.

CBK can get pretty angry behind the scenes

Dude doesn’t take a sideways glance on the podium. I can only imagine football practice.

Better yet, practice this week?

Very different angles as far as coaching a 4-1 team coming off a W vs a 3-2 team coming off an upset loss. We played badly in a few areas last week.

In other words, he’s probably very unsatisfied with some things & he has absolutely no reason to sugarcoat a thing.

People in here divide themselves into fanboys of each QB instead of just hoping whoever is playing succeeds.

This is true, but there’s substance in observing playstyles, strengths, and weaknesses of QBs.

Nuss has real potential if he can get his nerves under control, put QB123 out of his head, and just play ball.

Jayden has, for the most part, shown more moxie in critical moments — he also feels a bit closer to his ceiling.

It’s interesting. It’s football.

Joe Borrow was a rare thing, and we are all dreaming that another one like him will walk in the door, but that’s not happening, and here we all are critical of everything less….

Whats funny is Daniels and Burrows numbers through their first 5 games are pretty damn similar. Daniels has a lot better completion percentage and more rushing yards while burrow Had 100 more passing yards. Same 6 TDs passing.

People remember 2019 Joe but forget it took him a while to get to that point. Im not saying Jayden will become 2019 Joe Burrow by any means. I'm saying its too early to tell that he cant be great.

You can tell, and see it. When Mason Taylor dropped a pass Emery was standing behind BK and looking as if he was waiting for the explosion.
