This is the key. If you don't like the service that's being offered, don't buy it.

They had a decent crawfish bisque in the club.

Well yall need to complain and complain often. I haven't been since Aramark took over so I cannot give first hand accounts. Email anybody and everybody within the athletic department several times.

Aramark sucks, prices will not lower, quality will not improve, few fricks are given about steerage(people not in suites,) and ironically, the grub isn't a whole lot better there either(still Aramark)

From my experience the tv's only show some purple LSU graphic.

LSU tried to replace them during the offseason with a really cool new LSU IPTV system only to be paralyzed by indecision and cost overruns to the point they had to pay a vendor to reinstall the old TV's after paying the vendor to remove the devices months earlier.

They spent money on TVs in the concourses to show a screensaver graphic? WTF?

Please tell me they have - at some point - been used to show the game. And if so, why don't they anymore?

it was awful. We are in what was the old "South Upper." We went to the one near SEC 423. Slow as Christmas. And not only were the TVs put up when Stovall was coaching, they don't show the game. In addition to the rotating tiger eye, there would be some bold MAKE NOISE!

Really bad.

Ya'll are killing me...who the hell is in charge of TS facilities?

You're telling me that the screens in the concourse - where fans can't see the game because said screens aren't showing it - are telling the fans in the concourse to "make noise"?

Are they really asking fans in the concourse to just blindly start yelling while they're standing in line for food?

from Macatak911 in another thread:

Larry Wallace is the director of Tiger Concessions. It's very hard to find his email address now. LSU has taken it down. Even his LinkedIn account doesn't have it now.

Verne Ausberry personally called me back after my email. Very understanding. They want people to email their complaints. Sounds like they are very unhappy with what they are getting and want actual complaints to bring forward.

I went in the middle of the second quarter to get a hamburger. Tried 4 different stands that were all out. Finally settled for a Philly cheesesteak with so many raw onions on it that everyone on my walk back smelled and commented on them.

You know LSU football is doing well when fans are bitching about "the concession stand."

F*cking eat before.

Larry Wallace, Tiger Concessions Director 578-6991

Good luck trying to find his email. LSU has removed most information containing his email address. The only way to get your voice heard about concessions is to call the higher ups. Nobody seems to care though. Its been the same problems from game 1.

Wait a minute. This isn't the Lafayette paper's forum talking about concessions at Carencro HS's concession stand. Its inexcusable for the LSU athletic department to oversee such a sloppy operation. We pay a pretty good chunk of change each Spring for season tickets. Orderly lines with a TV showing the game -- or at the least our radio crew's play by play playing isn't asking too much.

THIS is my biggest complaint

Show the darn game on those sweet CRT Televisions you have in the concourse and give the fans a chance to keep up with the game

It's pitiful at this point

About 6 minutes left in the 3rd I went down because my buddy and I both needed a water and we were gonna get a bag of peanuts.
Well the concession lines near us in north endzone both had 40-50 people in line. I said screw that.
The papa johns line was about 10 deep. I waited about 5 minutes and then got 2 waters and 2 pepperoni pizzas. $28. Are you serious? Then they gave me cheese instead of pepperoni but I didnt notice until I was all the way at seat.
I was furious.

I fired off an email after the Arkansas game regarding the same issue and Verge Ausberry called me back. They know about the issues they are having. New vendor, long lines, TV's from another age of science.

They are pulling out the old TV's next year - did not hear whether they are replacing them A guy named Matt LAborde contacted me too. Wrote the following:

I am sorry to hear of your recent concessions experience at Tiger Stadium. We are continuing to work with our new concessionaire, Aramark, to ensure that these issues are resolved.

LSU Athletics aims to offer an elite fan experience and we are aware that improvements are needed to obtain this goal. I can assure you that your message is appreciated and will not be ignored.

Thank you for your feedback,

So obviously not resolved.

On another note - I was in the South Stadium Club Saturday. Talk about nice!! Great service, so many food options, mixed drinks, great looking design and facilities. That's where LSU placed its resources, not for the hoi polloi. We common folk may get to experience some elite fan experience, but I doubt it will be anytime soon.

Yeh.. it’s damn awful.

$15.50 for a water and 2 cups of ice that took me 35min in line only to be greeted by a kid who could barely function a damn touch screen with pictures on it. It’s literally like a family back there with a single mom trying to keep shite moving. It’s a bunch of high school kids who can’t function well in a high pressure environment with an older lady running around without a damn clue with an attitude to boot. I’m not sure if I ever heard that many people complaining so much at one time. Many saying... I’ll just stay at the tailgate or home from now on...
Usually grab a big water and a bag of peanuts to snack on throughout the game, I usually get my buddy a water as well b/c I sit with him every game. So, I pretty much paid $50 for 3 waters, a bag of peanuts and 2 cups of ice. Which of course they charge you a full drink price for the ice.

They should have let the Aggie band go first so I could have missed their lame arse performance and seen TGBFTL.
