Anybody that got up to stuff their face, instead of watching the a8m band at halftime has a mental problem that needs addressing. Seriously........

this is the classic move of trying to make sure you dont have all this extra "wasted inventory" left over...
But this shouldn't be an excuse, other sports are going on. They sell the same crap at all of the events. I bet by the time baseball rolls around they are selling peanuts that have been sitting in a closet for months.

I usually only buy water. But that 11am game meant I went straight in when I got to br, so yeah I got hungry during a 4 hour game. It was either eat the shite or leave to eat.

"This is a significant enhancement for LSU athletics and most importantly for our fans," LSU Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva said. "This is a long-term commitment between LSU and Aramark and our fans will start noticing immediate improvements in food and beverage at our athletic events this fall."

Alleva said the new partnership will mean more efficient service and greater menu options with more local flare.
"This is Louisiana - food is a very important part of our culture," said Alleva. "We want to better meet the needs and desires of our fans and we are confident this partnership helps us to do that."

So service is still awful, but at least they've added a couple menu items where they pour gumbo on top of already existing menu items.
Anyone know how long this shite deal is in place for?

It was pretty ridiculous. Missed the A&M TD to start the second half.
Same here... for one bottle of water.

This isn't the Lafayette paper's forum talking about concessions at Carencro HS's concession stand.
This thread has the feel of Denham Springs' "Call and Comment" unimportance.
I don't understand the need to go get nachos DURING the game. You waited nine months to watch six games played during a three month period, and you are going to leave a tie ball game in the second quarter with 8 minutes to go in the game to go get a crappy pizza or stale nachos.
YOU ARE MISSING THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!
I went to see Game 5 of the World Series, which lasted 5 hours and 17 minutes, and I did not leave my seat.

Well it’s been proven that if you go at halftime with everybody else, good luck getting back before the 2nd half kick. Might as well try a random time during the game and hope for the best

I haven’t spent a single dollar on concessions this year. I guess I am a cheap SOB, but I don’t understand why people are willing to pay the outrageous prices for horrible food. It’s 3.5-4 hours max that you’re in the stadium. Eat before you go in or wait until the game is over. Obviously, the concessions on the west sidelines (subtle brag) are better because the Fatty McFatters who sit next to me return with food items each of their 6-7 trips to the concession stand. Saturday alone the 2 of them each consumed 2 orders of jambalaya, a hot dog, order of nachos loaded with everything smelly that could be added, dippin dots and a pretzel. They frugally buy the refill size coke. They have to spend over $100 each at every game.

Tv didn’t have game on so had to watch on my delayed version on my phone since I had 30 minutes to wait

The push is going to be to more club like seats, charge more but more amenities. They built the stadium to big and they are starting to realize this. We're a few years away from them reducing seats, this isn't just a LSU problem but everyone who built +95K seat stadium is dealing with on some level.
However the ineptitude of the concession staff and lack of food options/them running out of basic items in the lower levels is an LSU problem and speaks volumes about competency of the Athletic Dep.

I agree about the tvs being so out dated and not even playing the damn game! The best option is to watch The ESPN app on your phone but then that’s delayed. The North end zone concessions have the same crappy options it has always had.

You know LSU football is doing well when fans are bitching about "the concession stand." F*cking eat before.
Don't be such a dick. It is not rocket science to have reasonable concessions at a major sporting event, and LSU fans have every reason to expect to have access to reasonable basic food and drink concessions when attending an LSU sporting event. Moreover, LSU relies on concessions income, and if the incompetent company can't provide working concessions then LSU athletics loses money. LSU needs to make a change in its concessions vendor both in its own self interest and as part of creating a good fan experience. If you aren't interested in what most people expect when they attend a sporting event, fine, but don't criticize others for living in the real world.

Pretty sure the popcorn I bought was popped before the Troy game.

I love TS, it's like going home when I go back there, absolutely love it, but, it's one of the most uncomfortable, fan unfriendly, inconvenient, outdated, as far as amenities, venues that I have ever been to
This is why, rightfully so, there are so many empty seats at Tiger Stadium these days.
