And he said if we were to get Freeman would absolutely love him and he is very very good. He would hate to lose him but knows he will be a big time coach for someone soon.

My wish is that he comes here, developing a devastating defense in a couple years, stays for back to back NC’s.... then gets the big job he will deserve

Who does your buddy think had more control over the defense, Freeman or Fickell?

We’ve got some work to do to get Mr. Freeman interested in our opening....go Google his name...he’s being mentioned in searches across the country. HC and DC positions.

Let’s go get him!!!

Freemman has a lot of control over that defense, don't be fooled

He installed some of the key points.

We can double that. Someone has to have told his wife this.

He says his next move will be HC. He turned down Michigan State, and only money will talk at this point. Sounds like a good hire, but if he is as successful as we think he will be, he will get that HC gig quickly. I would prefer more stability for recruiting.

Michigan state isn’t LSU and if he’s gets a HC gig it’s because he’s been great so we go get another DC and thank him for his services. You don’t pass on hiring him because you think he’s too good and will be gone in a few years, that makes no sense

Can we not just double it by default and aim for market value? Overpaying isn't really working out for us lately.
