A small glimmer of hope that maybe one or two of these guys could decide to stick around.

Wilkinson's offense left a lot to be desired, other than his corner 3. Court awareness was shaky. But his defense was stout and he played hard. If McMahon can sell him on staying, maybe another would follow his lead.

LSU basketball transfer Mwani Wilkinson told CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein this week that he is hearing from Creighton, Georgetown and Texas Tech. Wilkinson added that he is considering a return to the Tigers

How do you turn down Tech? He'd thrive in that system

I still predict that as many as 4 of those guys will return to our 2022-23 team.

My thing with Pinson, if you weren’t going to the draft, why go through senior day?

That either means maybe he was leaving regardless or he knew something

I hope you're right. That would be a major accomplishment for McMahon. But retaining 4 would be a pipe dream.

Dudes are going to come back.People think entering the portal means they’re gone. It doesn’t. Look at Myles Brennan

That would be a huge win.

I know that but Pinson going through senior night is a red flag that he could’ve been leaving regardless

I'll be honest - I don't think Pinson is really a fit for McMahon.

He's got a better distributor at point guard in Hill. And Pinson's 15 percent from three absolutely DOES NOT WORK in McMahon's system, particularly at the two guard.

Most of what Pinson brings we already have in Hannibal.

It would make more sense to bring back Gaines than Pinson, though what he really needs most of all is Miller or Murray to come back if we're going to retain a guard off this year's roster.

Hill and Hannibal are better than any guard LSU has had since Mays and Waters

Because why go through senior night if you’re playing another year in college

I think right now it’s just about building the RIGHT roster

I think now that you got the staff filled, you will see some action coming up

I'd be shocked if Pinson came back. He's mentioned in recent interviews how he wants to play where he'd be able to best provide for his kid right now. Which I took to imply wherever he can get the most NIL money. And that place wouldn't be LSU. It was reported he's been contacted by Kentucky, Michigan St, Xavier, and Arizona St.

L.O.L. He's giving you a throw away line to keep the hate down. He's not coming back to LSU.

If he could get Pinson or Murray to return, I think that would break the damn open. I can't say I'm optimistic but I can hope.

We need him, great defender with a reliable 3 point shot and athleticism to build from. McMahon’s calling card is development and Wilk has a lot of tools that can be developed.
