Would support boom for DC.

Awesome defenses, and even better facial expressions.

Obviously the NFL draft has had an effect on this team. But how does that explain the offensive line where the best player did come back and everyone said they would be great and our greatest strength. I don't think I will get much argument when I say they have been very disappointing.

He made it sound like we loss 18 defensive underclassmen to the draft in the last 2 years. Ego and Freak last year.

FYI, I think that is Mark Packer. Billy doesn't do football.

Wait, first Saturday Down South, then Houston Nutt and Muschamp?

Those guys can't be right. The Rant has been telling me losing players to the NFL has nothing to do with our struggles.

Indeed - pay him big and head coach in waiting. Let him start running the defense and overall operations with Les having an exit plan. And promote Frank WIlson big time in route to OC/Assistant head coach in waiting.
Change will happen sooner than later. Let's get the party started

We did lose about half of a starting defense though:

Ego Ferguson
Anthony Johnson
Micah Eugene
Lamin Barrow
Tahj Jones
Craig Loston

So what does it say about the philosophy of "playing field position and winning with our defense" when we have lost too much talent to be good on defense? Seems to me that we should try a new approach like, oh I don't know, scoring the football.

Been saying that for year and a half on here. We simply don't have the horses we used to.

That's the truth and it saddens me. I have always been optimistic about the Tigers but this year feels weird. Seemed like we always had the talent to hang with anyone no matter what but now it seems that the other teams are just more talented right now, experienced or not . Still have lots of talent and some All- American potential but more teams have caught us talent wise or passed us up. I think it's just a one year problem though , hopefully .

He's not a great HC but he is a good DC. Dont know how you can try to discredit a coach at that high of a level with so little. You cant be that stupid.

Hard to imagine WM going from head coach to head coach in waiting.

But do most of you think if the defense continues to struggle that Chavis won't return?
