I'd support Mike Brockers and Bennie Logan for defensive tackle. Then it wouldn't matter who the coordinator was.

Chavis isn't going anywhere as long as Miles is here, but yes, in a New York Minute.

Muschamp as DC, with Yaw Yaw O as DL coach/Recruiting Coordinator and flip flopping Peveto to DB's with Raymond going to Special Teams. That would maximize the defensive coaching to the most efficient and effective teaching level.........

Muschanmp can not "bad mouth" the other defenses, he must sorta explain it.

The D and the O feed off each other..
the changes to the O line is prompting a lot of problems to the D as well.

I am not a Chavis fan at all, but the combination of the loss of players and the inability of the O to maintain drives, is very hard.

his allowing of changes on the OL, has precipitated all sorts of negative consequences .. he should have known better
affects the QBs, the play calling and even the D because of their time on the field, also the way the other team plays.

---------
this was to be a GREAT OL yr, yet we chose to change schemes ..STUPID .. if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Miles should have known if/when Grimes was planning such change AND SHOULD HAVE STOPPED IT ..or NOT hired him.

I place MOST of the blame on Grimes and the OL at this point...we are too slow and too much out of position...there is no time for 2nd 3rd reads, specially by a Freshman QB

IT AL WORKS TOGETHER, or one part brings the others down

Look at the bright side, losing all of these underclassmen to the draft forced youngster into action this year, should make us better next year

Go to the 24:45 mark. Muschamp "says what Les can't say".

Doing this should be a bannable offense.

Nutt jumped in and said that LSU will be back on top within a year or two, but that the struggles are directly related to losing all of those early entrees.....

The fact that people still don't get that, boggles the mind. Look at South Carolina. I said this all during the offseason that they were going to fall having to replace all that talent on the DL and secondary.. On the DL alone, they lost starters Quarles, Sutton, and Clowney.

The fact that LSU played even remotely as good as our DL did last year, should be high praise.

after 2012, we lost Downs, Montgomery, Mingo, Logan, and Edwards, just on DL alone!!!! That same year, we also lost Minter, Reid, and Simon. Before that season, we lost Mathieu. Now that is 9 freaking players from the defense that either started, or were on the field so much, they might as well have been the starters. Of course two weren't early entrants, but you get way I am saying.

Losing all of that from the defense, and playing like we did last year, is award worthy. We just thought, hey, we're LSU. We have players for days. plug and play every year. For fricks sake, nobody had that, not even Bama.

Bama has yet to see the real offenses of the SEC, and when they do, it's going to be a real eye opener on how not good they are. I said last weekend before their game, that Ole Miss would expose them. Ole Miss with no run game, and a guy the call Good Bo/Bad Bo beat them.

Wait til they face Duke and Coates, and the Marshall ground attack. Wait til they face Dak and that balanced high powered offense. Wait til they face TAMU's air attack. Hell, WVU lost that game more than Bama won it.

Probably the nicest thing I've heard him say about us.

I wouldn't take him over Chief, but if Chief left, sure.

Agree

I initially was one of the negatigers after Saturday and still stand by a lot of what I said regarding offensive scheming.

But you can't deny the youth on both sides of the ball. You can only recruit so many players.

Would support boom for DC.

Awesome defenses, and even better facial expressions.

I would. However, one interesting stat. Muschamp has built a reputation as a DC whose defenses get after QB yet rushing the passer has been Floridas biggest weakness during his tenure. In fact, Florida hasnt finished better than 6th in sacks in the conference since 09
