It’s not his call.
Let’s say you’re correct for shite and giggles, and LSU fires Bo and hires two new coordinators. If it doesn’t workout, LSU would be paying Bo’s buyout, O’s buyout and the buyout of two coordinators 1 year into their contract.
That would bankrupt the athletic department
There is a zero percent chance of this happening.

I wish Orgeron would have gotten someone that can coach 3-4 and 4-3 if he wanted to switch to the 4-3.
Hiring a DC that runs the 4-3 only with players who have no experience in that base defense is a recipe for disaster.
A coach like Mike Nolan would seem to have been ideal. Nolan has coached both base defenses. He goes with whatever defense his players are better fit for each season or when he moves to a different franchise.
Mike Nolan ain’t coming to be a DC at LSU but he is the perfect type of coach with the ability to run the 3-4 with this years personnel and slowly installing the 4-3 until they have the players for that scheme.
Switching to Pelini’s 4-3 with no spring training after running a 3-4 under Aranda seems impossible to be effective. I never was a fan of the Pelini hire and Coach O claiming in August that this years defense is already better than last year’s Defense makes me question his judgment or he lied and that hurts his credibility and trust.
