Honestly I wish she would never speak publicly about that. I can't see that rubbing off on your team well when your own coach doesn't take it seriously.
In reality the conference tournament means nothing compared to the NCAAT. But you are on the line for a 1 seed potentially and thats our best effort especially in the 2nd half?

Are you stupid did you miss the fact that we had no timeouts, are that Tenn had 3 fricking fouls to give in the last 15 seconds. You can't even keep up with basic stuff happening during the game but know about coaching lol.

Looked like a Dale Brown meltdown to me. She stated at the half they needed to figure out the zone, which they did not do at the half due to them not being able to cover man up. Bragging and trash talking don't win ships......

Mulkey said in her press conference she on the last play it was called for Morris and 2 players were suppose to screen for her but just stood there…

Not upset about it. Not that big a deal. There is really no reason to play South Carolina again tomorrow. Their path into the big tournament is set. If they meet SC again it will be with real marbles on the line. Anything could happen. I think it could be a good thing.

This game is irrelevant nothing was going to improve their seeding go home get some rest, fine-tune some things and let’s start rolling

She did a terrible job this game but she patched together a team losing 4 starters and basically the entire bench from last season and led them to 15-1 conference record
I would say she has done a great job and has them ahead of schedule. Tonight was very disappointing though.
Regroup and go all out for ncaas. They are healthy and will play at home.

Lack of depth caught up with them tonight, along with Tennessee shooting 3 times the number of free throws, which was the biggest factor! Not coaching!

He never said fire her, but down the stretch, it just wasn’t there. Where as TN coach keep coaching them up, So ya, she got outcoached , take the loss and move on.

I didn't get to watch the game. But is it possible she just decided it wasn't worth pulling out all the stops to get the W? Stress and wear and tear on the team, possible injury, only to play South Carolina tomorrow on one night's rest after a close game. When the game tomorrow would make no difference at all in their status, except, more fatigue, and possibility of injury. Hell Tennessee can have that.
Versus going home a day early, an extra night's sleep in their own beds, think about what's ahead.
Who knows, maybe SC will suffer a key injury tomorrow that will affect their tournament run.
Better not to play them tomorrow even if they could pull out the win. Better chance of stealing a win if they meet again, than if SC is motivated by a loss.
There was no reason to bet the whole farm on this game today.

Wasn’t a farm to bet. She was up 17 and lost, going up 17 doesn’t sound like a coach throwing in the towel

Too much Jim Bean. What makes you think there were no set play? You probably flipped through this channel to watch for the first time all year. Sets were run. Sets break down. When sets break down the players have to adjust and make plays. Your mother needed to do better.

She said earlier this week that the SEC tournament was not important to her. They might have tanked it.
