SEC tickets are $12.50 each and non conference and tourney days are $12.00 a ticket. This is a move to get peeps in the seats during non conference games but being paid for by the season ticket holders who remain. They same price for last year for SEC games this year. So anything beyond that it an increase in revenue. Many prime seating locations are bought by peeps who do not attend and this move lets the fans who want sit in the chair backs show up and pay the same price as a season ticket holder without a long term comittment. I would assume this is a dry run for the smaller crowd for softball but would envision the Box and the PMAC will be managed this way in the future. Hell what stops them in Tiger Stadium....

Tonight at midnight is the first contact period for 2025 recruits. Lets hope we can get some top recruits in this class like last years.

There are three or four players that may be worth the investment required to give scholarships or NIL to come to BR. We have many players that are better than many on that list also. You dont just go spend money willy nilly just to say you played in the portal IMO. This year the portal is not nearly as good due to COVID years rolling off many players. Keep in mind only 38% of the players entering the portal last year found a spot to land. So 62% took off the cleats for good.

You can look up the stats yourself at the SEC website, but second in BA, 4th in EERA and 1st in fielding. That is SEC stats only not padded out of conference stats that some teams bring to the table prior to conference play. The one stat that stands out to me is the slugging percentage, which shows that our slapping game gets on base but we dont bring them around to score. Oh and Berzon was a top 4 pitcher behind the greats of Fouts, Penta and Rogers. Just the facts if you look at stats....

Aleah Johnson is in the portal and it is spelled wrong. I have not seen any rumors of her visiting or committing to another school yet. She may have removed herself from the portal and had a discussion with the LSU Coaching staff. That could occur but not likely and I still see her in the database on extra innings behind the paywall. The twitter account is not real accurate at times.....

They also lost Sophia Nugent to the portal today, she would have been next years catcher. I assume she is leaving for playing time, since they had her in RF some but not behind the plate. Covid really has it all messed up for this last year. Then the coaches will be back to 4 year plans.

Using Perfect Game ratings of the 2024 class she is not even in the top 50. We took the number 2, 4 and 38 rated players. One can make a case for LA softball players not producing in college with a few exceptions and they have gone to OOS schools such as Bama. Landry is the last one that comes to mind that was a quality player who could make a difference at a WCWS game. The rest have put up large numbers against poor competitors and dont show out in national level tournament ball. Just the facts, but she did go play for a good travel team in VA that loves Beth........hmmmm

TP leads the team in SEC batting avg, you guys have not a single clue when it comes to commenting on softball or baseball. It is all in the stats, not just an opinion like we need a new left tackle he sucks......in football. By the way she has been hurt for the entire SEC part of the schedule. The move to the 7 hole is good. The move to left field for Stewart has also been the correct move.
Since OK only had 2 hits against two freshman and a walk on pitcher I TJ Gasso needs to be fired also since we scratched out 3 hits. You fuks have not a clue. We are 2-3 in the SEC consistently. Our issue is we leave 9.7 runners on base which is about 80 more on the season than OK. Your four hole takes a pitche thigh high down the middle of the plate with runners on base and she begs for a walk. That is the issue, prime time hitting, Not many have it, OK does.
