She does speak her mind for sure, but I ask here on TD should she be taking this kind of media assault for her opinions on these matters...??

In regard to me, it seems a little over the top and slanted left politically...fwiw

Someone comfortable in their opinions and career position should give zero fricks about the opinion of a "journalist". Shes better at her job than than he is as a "race and social issues sports columnist". And that's an exact quote from his bio. He's irrelevant.

No, her opinion seems apolitical.

I say that as a guy that hates when ANY celebrity wades into issues that are not why people are following them in the first place. Not because they do not have the Constitutionally protected right to voice an opinion, but because I happen to think that if I'm following an actor, or musician, or athlete, or scientist for the work they do that made them great at their job, they ought not take advantage of my attention to spout off about other issues for which they so not have my attention. and this goes for opinions I agree with as well as those I do not.

This seems as though a writer thinks she OUGHT to be acting political, and since she is not he's upset.

I thought this board appropriate for the post since I have read many other threads here regarding the possibility of LSU bringing her on board to coach WWBball....

Sorry to offend your sensitivities...

She should be applauded for her opinions. But who cares what a liberal hack thinks anyway. I’m sure Mulkey doesn’t.

No kidding, you have to be one ruined individual to take some of those things she said and spin them into something very negative.

Don't care, I think she's earned the right to stand up for whatever she wants to believe in.
I see no reason anyone shouldn't want to go to the White House no matter who the sitting president is or what your beliefs are.

SJW writer is looking for something to be outraged about while the Notre Dame coach is openly discriminating against men.

Carron J. Phillips is in desperate need of a life.

Typical SJW hiding behind bushes just waiting for an outrage to make his own.

These people are a waste of skin and oxygen.

From Muffet McGraw’s speech, to the popularity of women’s college basketball being on the rise, and to the WNBA doing more to build excitement around their league, everything feels like this is a turning point for women’s basketball, and women’s sports in general.

Except that one of the greatest coaches in the game, and a woman at that, seems to always get in the way when progress is being made.

Kim Mulkey is a stumbling block for change.

But don’t get mad at me for saying it.

Mulkey got off the plantation.
She dared to be strong and refused to bow to the puppet masters.
As usual, they turned on a shining example of women who can.
