Who cares who they did the ring me gesture to? If you are the champ, you are the champ.

Really don’t like the Game 1 antics with the princess crown. It’s a new season. Get your head straight and go out there and win another one.

GGOZWM, please name the 3 or 4 better players on this year’s team better than Reese?

1. Mikayla Williams
2. Morrow
3. HVL
4. Flaujae (questionable)
5. Sa'Myah Smith (questionable)

Flaujae - greatly increased her offensive game this season. Far better in the 1/2 court than last year. Improved shooting. Defensively, she's probably the best on-ball defender we have.

Sa'Myah - improvement year over year is night and day. I think she's a better offensive player than Reese now. Far more versatile. Good defender, although her weakness is heavier players. Not as confident as Reese.

None of this is to slight Reese. I think she's awesome. Her primary strengths are (1) uncanny knack at offensive rebounding, (2) high energy player... sheer want-to, and (3) really good ball handler for a big, very valuable in transition. I think she's a really good, but not great, defender. But, she's limited offensively. Right now, she's a one-trick pony. Drive to the hole for a layup... or offensive rebound and put-back.

Against Colorado she was 1 for 3 with 4 fouls

Sa’Mayah is playing very well, but not the dominant force down low they Reese is. When Reese is out of the game we give up a ton of offensive rebounds to our opponents. Sa’Mayah needs to get better on the boards.

Shaq was a one trick pony and one of the top 10 basketball players in the history of the sport. If you are super good at your one trick, you can still dominate.

The only player on this team that can even be in the conversation to be better than Reese, based off of what we have seen this season, is Mikaylah Williams. In no world is Reese our 4th or 5th best player.

My sentiments exactly. People act like Angel is averaging 5 ppg and 4 rpg. This is someone who literally averaged 23 ppg and 15 rpg. last season. In no way, shape or form is ANYONE on this team doing or done that. Even with these four first games, where the team is trying to figure things out, she's STILL averaging 17 ppg and 10 rpg

HVL is not a better player than Angel at least not this season at LSU.

Mulkey needs to see our new players play a lot in our OOC games. That gets us ready for the SEC season.

The contracts (NIL) HVL and Angel have are national WBB contracts mostly and will carry over into the WNBA. Neither of those two girls will have to stay at LSU to keep those contracts.

've seen this type comment a lot recently. What I don't think most of us appreciate is that for WBB, the college game is the highest level of earning capacity a woman playing basketball has. There is a next level... but she will earn 1/10th of what she can earn in college with NIL.

I really wish people would stop repeating this. It is NOT true!

It looks silly when women imatate men with there antics like flexing and growling after a making a big play or a basket."

Imitated was also misspelled in the original post. Maybe YOU should hit the books. I'm personally a 1959 model.

Admittedly I’ve only seen the game against Kent State but HVL was the best defender on the court

Not a damn thing. It's fairly typical for more than one topic or conversation to take place in a given thread. might not be how it should be;however, that's how it is.d

Shaq a "one trick pony"? This is so wrong.
You cannot be a "one trick pony" and be in the top 10 in NBA HISTORY.
I initially intended to quote your entire post to simply disagree with you but after reading the part I did quote I decided not to bother.
