I just like the idea that when my.tickets come in, the season is upon us. When I get that delivery notification, I can’t wait to get in from work. Then Make myself a drink and open the envelope!

One of the best days of the year is when I receive my ticket book. Also we shuffle our tickets around at our tailgate sometimes. That is going to be a pain in the arse.

I didn’t even think about saving the ticket for the Natty. I was standing in line on the Poydras ramp and couldn’t get a signal to download (combo bad service and drunk wife sending me videos of her tailgating still) my ticket. I was panicking. Worked out for the best since I started walking towards Claiborne. Finally got a decent signal and ended up using the ramp by the SKC. No line at all to get thru secret service. I was nervous tho.

I just got an e-mail that MS St will not have printed tickets for this football season.
Didn't know one needed a ticket to go to a State home game.

I thought it was like a disciplinary action against bad students.

Easy fix. LSU can setup phone charging kiosks around the stadium. Not too many but I think it could work.

This will be permanent now everywhere. Somebody wiped their nose or sneezed or got ticket from a nearly homeless man.... then stadium ticket person takes your ticket to scan.... you see the scenario plus it saves them money printing 100,000 tickets

I was extremely worried about that while partying on Bourbon Street for the NC game. Didn’t want to take pictures, call, or text.

Man, that sucks! This is gonna suck all around for people worried about the exact same thing being unable to take pictures, get on TD Or anything like that before the game. I’m definitely gonna buy up a few portable chargers and take with me if I can catch a game this year. Hopefully someone can put a bug in Woodward’s ear about putting a bunch of charging stations set outside the entrances and in other areas.

My 2019 Astros season tickets were "free" for digital tickets, $200 dollars for printed stock.

This is an aggravating trend. Just capitalizing on more and more opportunities to gouge people until you’ll eventually force everyone out. It will be wild when the first of the big 4 sports leagues has a real crash. They’ve all been around what feels like forever now.

Purely anecdotal for me but although I see the reasoning behind getting away from paper tickets, I always loved finding the ticket stub of a great time/game and getting a little nostalgic. Before the 2016 flood, I had a box full of old LSU ticket stubs for multiple sports

Even the paperless options they provide today allow for printing the ticket at home.

Some of you need to take a deep breath and relax about this trend in event management. Did y’all react this way when email was invented? All of this whining and hand wringing about e-tickets is hilarious.
