I just got an e-mail that MS St will not have printed tickets for this football season. I think we all saw it coming, as that’s the way they handled the post season tickets for LSU. I miss my ticket booklet already....

This is NBA (Pelicans) new ticket policy. The 2020-21 Pelicans tickets will be digital. But, if you pay an extra $100, you can get the paper tickets, too.

This seems to be the way the world is going.

The big tickets you get with the graphics on it are cool, but I hardly get those. I’m okay with scanning a QR square on my phone. I won’t have to worry about forgetting/losing them.

frick that. I love my ticket book.

ETA: but if my last one ever has to be the 2019 LSU national championship so be it. It will be framed and saved in eternal glory forever. Or until I die and my POS kids hawk it for some cash.

Alabama and Texas have already announced their updated mobile ticket only policy.

Texas has also notified season ticket holders that they'll have a 50% max capacity and have asked season ticket holders to respond this week regarding their interest in attending or if they want a refund.

Alabama did the same. Everything is accessible on your phone

With the wifi in and around LSU Tiger Stadium hopefully you can access them.
Never had any issues at any other stadium where I've used them at though.
My poor dad is not going to know how to handle this!

They are saved on your device long before the game.

Biggest issue with the digital tickets is making sure your phone doesn’t die while tailgating all day.

Once you get signed up for the app, selling tickets is easy and safe for all parties

The way Miss State has been playing football lately, I expect they soon will go fanless as well.

Depends on which distributor they use. If it’s flash seats then I’m pretty sure the code scrambles like every minute.

I don’t know about season tickets but for the postseason they said DO NOT screen shot the tickets. The QR square was continually changing to prevent scams. So a screen shot would only be the QR square at that particular moment and will be no good trying to enter stadium later.

Apparently people were taking screen shots of their ticket, selling the ticket and transferring it to the buyer, but entering the stadium with the screen shot before the buyer did. So the buyers ticket had already been used.

I was extremely worried about that while partying on Bourbon Street for the NC game. Didn’t want to take pictures, call, or text.

I was shocked at how well it worked. Waaaaay easier to send a ticket compared to the good ol' US Mail.
