Feels like one of those games where the other team uses up all their misses in the first half and shoots 80 percent in the 2nd. I'm saying it out loud to jinx it away.

Wright killing us here

Wright has been horrible
Posted on 3/14/24 at 1:12 pm to LSUGrad9295
The good:
1.The defensive plan and execution in guarding Hubbard has been excellent (except being forced to have Wilkinson guard him with Hannibal out with two fouls)
2. Hunter Dean! Give him a blow for a minute to two when you can. But this is his game inside. If Baker plays more than 4 minutes this half there is a problem
3. 3 point shooting. LSU has been solid (not great) from 3. Better when they take good shots. MSU has been horrible. They shot well above their heads from 3 in BR. That was the biggest difference.
The bad:
1. This continues to be the worst ball-handling team I can remember at LSU. Today it has been led by Jordan Wright. He's almost by himself bogging down the offense with constant overdribbling...leading to inevitable turnovers. When the ball is moving LSU has been fine
2. We got the version of Jalen Reed who seems like he's taking a nap on the floor while everyone else is busting it.
The reason for optimism is all season LSU has been horrible in first halfs with TO's only to fix the issue in the second.

I remember when Stackhouse was 6th man for the Mavs later in his career, I've never seen a black hole like that dude was, I get they wanted him to give a spark off of the bench, but he would shoot literally every time he got the ball, some of them absolutely terrible shots. He just came across as a dumb player, I was surprised when he got into coaching

We want Dean! We want Dean! We want Dean!

Damn bad start to the half. We gotta start getting some whistles at the rim or scrap driving

I feel like they are letting Moo State get away with worse than they are calling on LSU.

Baker is too soft for Ms St and Wright just needs to get his stuff together.

We knew they would come out hot, take a timeout, weather this storm, stick to the game plan and don’t panic, we got this
