LaCour, fat fingers plus skinny cell phones sometimes equals unintended downvotes.

My father passed away the summer of 2003. It was that fall that I received my season tickets for LSU. I wore his socks and LSU hat that entire season and then took my son to the championship game in New Orleans. When that final second ticked off the clock I sat down and cried like a baby. So happy, yet so sad that my father couldn't be there with me. Somehow I think he was. What a special time.

'97 Florida rushing the field from SEZ as a 10 year old. My older cousins let me hang out at Fiji house later that night.
'01 SEC Championship. First road trip with my dad.
'03 BCS Title with Dad and brother. Got to party late into night with them after.
'09 Omaha road trip
'11 humiliating Ole Miss

2008 Ole Miss
We got our teeth kicked in, but my 12 year old son (who is in a wheelchair and was diagnosed with Duchennes MD at 2) and I got a personal tour of the football operations center, including locker room, weight room, and indoor practice facility. He also received a ball signed by the entire team courtesy of Randall Gay who was a Saint at the time.
I remember thinking what a shitty game as we left the stadium and my son saying what a great day he had and thanking me. Now I keep prospective as to what is truly important.

Good stuff in this thread. Quite a few to pick from but I would say walking out of the PMAC after graduation and making eye contact with my parents. Seeing my dad with tears in his eyes as he came up to me. That one will always stick there

Mine was the LSU-Bama game in 2007. My friend Luke and I took the trip up to Tuscalossa to watch the game. This was my first away LSU game and we were pumped. We bought a ounce of weed, and just smoked blunts the whole way up and back. The game was intense, so much back and forth. Then when we sacked their qb to recover the fumble and eventually score, I knew we were gonna win. Walking out of the stadium that night was exciting. We just upset Bama in their house!
The next summer my friend Luke passed away in a car accident, but I'll never forget that trip we took. It's never easy losing a close friend, but he bled purple and gold so enjoying that moment with him was special.

Going to my first game with my Dad still tops the list.

LSU vs Tennessee in 2000. The Nicktators first year coming off of the devastating defeat at the hands of UAB. Rohan Dave starts the OT period with a 25 yard strike to Robert Royal. The crowd rushes the field. I was trapped in the east upper deck.

For LSU as a whole, it would have to be graduation day. But in terms of sports, it was the only time my parents have ever been inside Tiger Stadium. They had gotten me a ticket to sit with them, so I was able to forego the student entrance, and learned how much easier it is to get in through the other entrances.
We soaked in the atmosphere together, and they seemed to be enjoying themselves... until they ruined the moment by insisting on leaving early. To be fair, the game itself was nothing too exciting, a blowout of a cupcake. But they came all the way to Baton Rouge just to experience it with me, and that made it special.

First in 2005 after Katrina when ASU was generous enough to host LSU, offer their chartered plane, ticket sales, donations, and paint their end zones with purple and gold Louisianas. It was just a nice showing of sportsmanship a great distraction during a shitty time.
People ask me about it and I tell them why.

Plus the ASU women....

Going to the Wally Pontiff Jr Classic with my older brother during Nick Pontiff's senior year.

Not nearly as cool but....
UF game 2007. Brought my buddy Bill to the game. Bill was talking trash about how nothing could be better than a UT game. The sweetest part was watching him leave Death Valley emotionally drained.

1979. LSU versus USC. Going to sound stupid but it changed me as far as my lifelong love of the Tigers. At that time I was just a 19 year old sophomore, from Maryland, having a great time in college.

Watching both my cheerleader daughters lead the Tigers out of tunnel. For me, it was an incredible moment in time.

Ironically, I ate breakfast the morning after the national championship with that season's starting punter, Patrick Fisher. He was with his parents and they sat us with them at Cafe Du Monde.
There are so many memories that I can think of, but sitting with my dad at the 2007 Florida game and 2007 National Championship are moments I will never forget. Besides hunting and my personal athletic endeavors, LSU athletics has probably been the greatest unifier in our relationship. It was a culmination of experiences rolled into one pinnacle moment. As a sophomore in HS, he let me have a little more fun on bourbon street than most 16 year olds should be having, but I'll never forget it.
I'll also never forget rushing the field after Ole Miss in 2014. Never in my life did I think I would be part of rushing the field in Tiger Stadium. It's such a unique experience to be on the field that has created so many lasting memories for me. Some people would say why, but I'll never forget that!

Lots of amazing moments...
Notre Dame '71, meeting my future (and still) wife following 56-17 Oregon beat down in '77, Ohio State '87, Florida '97, Georgia '03, etc.
But most personal moment...
My dad died in June of 2007. He had lived in the stadium dorms from '48-'50, and sold programs and peanuts and Cokes in the stands to make money.
We had 50 yard line tickets on Sept. 22 for the USCe game (fake field goal), barely 3 months after he was gone.
The band comes out that day, plays "Hold that Tiger", and forms up for their always perfect rendition of The Star Spangled Banner.
As soon as they started playing, it hit me that the version I was listening to was the exact version he had listened to almost 60 years before. It was like he was standing next to me, and I broke down sobbing uncontrollably in the rain.
It remains one of the most powerful moments in my life.
Forever LSU.

only applied to one college: Ole Miss. Wanted to get out of BR and do my own thing. The month before graduation, i realize i couldn't leave LSU football, but i didn't apply to LSU. Family friend lends a hand and i get in past deadline.
a year later, i watched LSU beat OU, as a student, to win the national championship.
sure i'd probably have married a sorority girl and joined her dad's lawfirm in jackson had i gone to ole miss...but frick Ole Miss
