Keiland Williams. will never come close to matching his recruiting hype, unfortunately. i thought he would be a monster, even after his first year at LSU i thought the same thing.

Are you kidding? He was great before the injury! You cannot count someone who had that type of set-back. JV was declining before his injury.

Hester is definitely not underrated.

Just to add a different name than one that has been mentioned.....Dick Murphy.
Seems every year in the SG, he would make spectacular plays, but he can't get on the field during the season. Then, when he does, he doesn't do much.

I thought the exact same thing...We were both wrong..Looking at his high School film I never thought the guy would be a HUGE candy arse, but sure enough thats exactly what KW is.

Transferred to UNC and never panned out there

so you're saying "underrated" as "out-performed his star-ranking?"
and he was 2-stars b/c he was a fullback (the most they ever get are 3 stars). he had offers from LSU, UT, and other big schools. he was no secret

the fact that there was actually a ranter debate on here about whether hester was better than mcfadden means he wins this thread in a landslide

I didn't even click on that thread b/c i thought it was ridiculous to begin with, and whoever started has an IQ level worse than Jerell Powe's.
