I think it was more hostile years ago. I remember beating Notre dame 28-8. That crowd was amazing. I know, I'm old.

1982 fsu greatest in game celebration. orange rain in TS.
1997 Florida greatest after game celebration

tOSU 1987 loudest I ever attended for start of game. Buckeyes couldn't hear to run a play. Qb stood and waited for crowd to quiet down. Refs wouldn't make them run a play. Crowd noise could be penalized back then.

2003 Uga Best day game crowd start to finish

1997 Florida 2001 auburn 2008 bama most nasty environment. True hatred for opposing head coaches.

Best crowd worst outcome. 1988 Miami 44-3

Ugliest for lsu. Brawl after 42-3 asswhipping by fsu in 1990

2010 Tennessee when we thought we lost after the botched snap.

I thought the stadium was going to riot

I agree with Florida in 07. It was wild.

Yeah, that was about the most hostile I've ever heard that many people toward our own coaching staff at home in one moment. It was comical looking back on everything that happened. When our receivers started casually running off the field after the coaches called for a different offensive set while time was running out, it did feel like the stadium would spontaneously combust.

When the refs were about to mistakenly give Bama the ball in 2000, until they peeked at the jumbotron, I was seriously concerned that members of the crowd would storm the field and murder the refs.

Ole Miss 2003 on the road. Nastiest group of people young and old I've ever seen. Friends wife slapped the shite out of a drunk sorostitute that out of no where called her an LSU count. Her fratstar boyfriend stayed in his seat because my friend is a fricking giant crazy person. I got propositioned to fight no less than a dozen times walking to the stadium. Biggest group of well dressed classless douce bags I've ever seen.

Bama 2012

It was so loud that I was throwing up at the end of the night because of a migraine caused by the constant percussive force on my head and eardrums.

Ears were still ringing 2 days after.

I was in the student section, and glass bottles, food, and full water bottles were being thrown everywhere. Couldn't hear myself think during most of the game, and when Saban first came out onto the field, I thought someone might literally kill him...

this was my first game in TS

Yep. There was a lot of hatred for Auburn back then.
