2004 is the most egregious.

but second poster nailed it, 2014 was Miles' worst margin of defeat ever in 11.2 seasons.

I'll just never understand WTF happened in 2006. None of it made sense. AU wasn't a title contender if i remember correctly.

2014 because I think it was one of the games that season that confirmed the decline was in fact real (MSU being the other)
Only the delusional expected Harris to lead LSU to a W in his 1st SEC away start.
Sound eerily familiar?

It does. Which is exactly why I'll be incoherently drunk by kickoff. I set the DVR in case LSU pulls it out.

The QB situation is actually better than '14, but there are some major issues elsewhere in '18.
Maybe the D can bail out the O. My main hope.

1997 - at home.

about 10 min to go in game LSU lead. Cecil is averaging half a bazillion yards per carry. 3rd and 2.
we pass. incomplete. punt.

auburn gets 2 more possessions that game and comes back to win.

cost us the West.

Flag? How about 8 missed calls or bad calls that game. No one call
Screwed us. It was a plethora of highway robbery.

The 41-7 cigar game was completely depressing too because that was the moment we knew our #8 team was completely screwed for the season with Lou Tepper. And we had some serious talent on that team.

we were not ranked going into that game in 1999, having finished the prior season 4-7. We were ranked 8th in 1998 when we beat Auburn in Auburn.

2006 simply because we may well have won a NC that year had we beaten them

1994

Auburn was on a 14-game winning streak when LSU traveled to Auburn in 1994, but it was LSU who led 23–9 entering the fourth quarter. LSU quarterback Jamie Howard threw five fourth quarter interceptions - three were returned for touchdowns - as Auburn extended their winning streak to 15 games with a 30–26 win. Auburn made one first down in the second half, yet scored 27 points in the comeback. Multiple players were hospitalized for dehydration after the game. After the loss Jamie Howard received multiple threats.

End of Discussion.

The Interception Game because LSU dominated and blew it by some of the dumbest coaching I've ever seen.

This. They really messed up Jamie Howard also.

Yes, that was also a heart breaking game. Cecil had one of the greatest RB games in Tiger Stadium history up to that point. Shame he was a predator.
If I recall we had AU stopped on their GW drive, maybe even a dropped interception.
I think the epic let down vs Ole Miss really cost us the SEC W. What a pitiful performance vs the Rebs.

In 2006 we had the core group of the following years championship team, the number one fricking pick of the NFL draft at QB, and 3 other first rounders. I'd argue that the 2006 team as a whole was better than both title teams and the 2011 team.

2006 and it isn't even close.

Most disappointing loss against AU2004,2006, or 2016? I was at the 2004 and 2006 games and AU fans were literally apologizing after the ref jobs.
AU is crimminal and LSU is STUPID. Why stay in a conference full of society's lowest caliber human beings? AU faces Wisconsin, Michigan, Nebraska, OU,

2007 AU had help that day from the officials!

2017 It was total domination.

2015 AU was the favorite going into both games versus Wisky.

2006 Irons was held to under 100 yards.

2001 Michigan out blocked and out executed AU and as usual BIG TEN linemen won the interior battle.

I was so furious after the 06 game, I lost my voice at the end of the half....was watching at home.

04 was disappointing but 06 made me so mad with all the BS calls that went on throughout the whole game.

We tend to get screwed by the officials whenever we play either of the Alabama schools at their place, particularly when either one or both are highly ranked like they are this season.
