UCLA, 100%.

I don't see how Bama 2021 is even mentioned. I expected LSU to lose that game by 20 & we almost won. Season was already over with at that point anyways.

That Wisconsin loss sent LSUs negativity level to the top and the game auburn stole took it out of sight and is the main reason we are where we are at today . wisconsin ended that year in the national top four something lsu didnt realize at the moment whether we like it or not it is negativity or positivity levels that either lifts a program or sinks it !

Mississippi State last year. The highlight of the day was the hoisting of the national championship banner. Then it was from the penthouse to the outhouse.

Auburn and Arkansas this year. We were better than they were and we'd have been 8-4 and 3rd in the west.

UCLA set the bar where I believed we were in trouble.

Followed by a distant Bama 2021 game. We had them on the ropes and couldn't produce.

UCLA was bad too. Basically killed any optimism about a 2021 turnaround.

+1

We had some hope that 2020 was just a combo of 2019 hangover, and a wasted season due to covid rules (I know everyone had to deal with it, but not everyone dealt the same way). UCLA was supposed to be the "we're back" moment.

Instead, it confirmed the program was in deep disarray and O had to go.

UCLA for sure.

That was basically the Wisconsin game at lambeau a few years ago for miles.
Maybe for perception, but in reality it was much worse.

That Wisconsin team finished Top 5, and we were a few yds from kicking a game-winning FG.
UCLA this year was barely average, and they kicked our teeth in.

Huge difference overall in those 2 games.

Most depressing loss of last 2 seasons?

UCLA this year.
I was hoping 2020 was a one off due to attrition and Covid, but getting manhandled by a mid tier Pac12 team proved beyond all doubt that the real one off was 2019 and 2021 would be a real struggle.

The UCLA game took all the enthusiasm out of this season and it just became about when, not if, O would be out.

As odd as it seems, this game did not upset me at all.
Maybe that’s because the season was already over for us, Ed had been fired and I really expected Bama to humiliate us like 56-0.
Sure it sucked to lose, but given the expectations going into that game, I was actually happy with the effort and heart showed by the team.
That’s not a moral victory, but it’s OK to okay you arse off and come up a bit short, especially when a 4TD underdog.

UCLA for me. I really drunk the kool-aid and thought we would kill them.

UCLA

2020 sucked as a whole but for LSU to let out that turd against UCLA proved that the 2021 season was going to be a continuation of 2020.

Not according to public opinion. According to public opinion, Joe Brady did everything and we aren’t anything without him.

UCLA because it confirmed 2020 wasn’t a fluke and that we were in a free fall.

Mizzou last season.

Set in stone how bad things were going to be if O was going to stick around.
