2nd half sucked. Had we not scored 27 PGs in 2nd qtr the boos would have come back

So, you think BH shouldn't have been pulled out of the game? He showed confidence and leadership last year. Something went wrong over the spring for him to be so nervous that he couldn't run this offense.

The predictable play calling is the biggest issue. It was evident in the 2nd half what predictable play calling does to an offense.

Sorry to say but I was watching Bh on the side lines and he was acting like a spoil kid not a leader

Maybe, he was benched, because he couldn't hit a bull's arse with a bass fiddle. Someone else came in, and he could. Suck it up and move on. It is about LSU not BHU or DEU.

In my opinion he was pressing everything. Forcing every act on the field instead of reacting to what he's seeing.

I've discussed Etling all day in a pretty tame thread on his second half performance. I don't recall much coming up about Harris. It was nice.

You brought up:

Alternatively, if we're going with this line of thinking for Etling, should Dupre should take the fall for 5 passes against Wisconsin that hit him in the hands? Harris would have been a legit 17/21 for 225 yards instead.

Pretty sure a lot of people blamed dupre more than Harris.

quote:

I really don't know if this is even realistic. If this was anyone other than Etling the QB would be shouldering all the blame here.

You consistently said the int was all etling, placing no blame on dupre.

You came off as someone who thought everyone bashed Harris but not Dupre, then bashed dupre but not Etling for the same thing.

To be clear with you, I want Harris to be the starter. His skills are far superior to Etling. Coaching, oline, and receivers have made bit hard for Harris, as well as his poor throws. That being said, it looks like Etling gives us a better chance to win right now, but I still don't want to give up on Harris B/c he is too talented.

There are posts all across the spectrum on this.

"Harris is a good kid."

Maybe he is, but we don't know if he is or not.

"He was so disappointed."

So? Lots of guys in college football are disappointed when they get benched. Anthony Jennings is an example. I don't recall him ducking out on his team "

"The pressure of playing quarterback at LSU."

The quarterbacks at Ohio State, Florida and Alabama face the same pressure, and they deal with it.

"Miles has put Harris into a bad position with this offense "

Agree with this sonewhat, but they gave him easy throws Saturday night, and he still couldn't hit them. He's missed easy throws throughout his career.

Etling may not be the answer, but I don't feel sorry for Harris. He's been given ample opportunity and hasn't gotten it done. If his feelings are hurt and he can't handle it, too bad. This is the time and circumstances to be growing into a man and a leader, and he didn't appear to be either Saturday night

Why weren't they booing in the 2nd half then when we were running the ball every play on our way to scoring 7 points.

Because we moved the ball prior to that point retard.

That's completely opposite of what I wrote.

I suspect you may be a racebaiter......seriously

You may want to get educated on the issues from a realistic perspective. A few racist asshats on Twitter does NOT reflect the social norm.

Last I checked it wasn't Brandon Harris' Stadium.

You sure, man? If I mistook what you said, I'll admit it...but, how did I mistake it?

Please name all the Harris skills that are far superior to Etling?

Name them with supporting evidence to back up your claims.

We have only seen Etsiah for a little over 3 quarters of play. That's not much of a body of work to make a prudent judgement, but based on the evidence presented so far, Etling looks to have the far superior QB'ing skills.

He seems to have the "It" factor. He appears to have the kind of skills that can bring you an SEC Championship.

Harris hasn't displayed anything except for a strong arm. Nothing else. Strong arms without touch or accuracy are worthless........

He didn't seem to mind when the shoe was on the other foot when he was backing up Jennings.
