More support from the fanbase: Firing Les or Firing Jones

I know people started calling for Les to leave after that first home loss to Tennessee. Then came the "He won with Saban's players" argument in 2007 and after. Then 2011 stoked the fire and the momentum came to a head after the the end of last season and the start of this year. Most people were on board that a change needed to be made at the football head coach and firing was mostly supported. I think it has come much swifter for Johnny Jones. The home stretch of last season stoked the fire, the dismissal of Victor this year killed any defensive identity we had this year, now we're getting smoked by 20 daily. Everyone has a torch and pitchfork now, and the final hours are approaching for JJ's tenure. Just goes to show you, LSU Basketball may be little brother to the football team, but the fanbase still wants a product to be proud of, even if nobody shows up to the games anymore.

LSU fans won't come out to basketball games until LSU starts winning. Hire a new coach and the PMAC still will be half full.

The answer is obviously Miles since hardly anyone seems to be paying attention to the disaster that is our basketball program now. It is also obvious that the basketball program is in much worse shape than football has been is a very long time but it doesn't seem to matter to very many people.

There are more people who wanted Les fired than even know who Johnny Jones is lol

Les Miles, but Jones is clearly the worse coach

It has come quicker for Jones because this team has talent and if you don't believe that you can go look at our past recruiting classes. The problem with Jones is he Runs no offense, the team plays 0 defense, and lastly the team doesn't play hard.

Let's not compare the two. One was a good coach past his prime, and the other is a bad coach who never had a prime.

In terms of numbers, Miles. Easily. In terms of consensus it's Jones.

People care about football, so Les Miles.
But that's really an indictment of Johnny Jones and LSU Basketball more than anything else. You'd rather have people chomping at the bit angry over your sports program than people just not caring about your sports program.

relatively Johnny Jones because the select people that watch LSU basketball all want him fired, Les had like half and half people wanting him to be fired and stay

<-------Even people who don't really watch basketball think Jones should be fired.

Stopped reading when it said "the dismissal of Victor this year killed any defensive identity we had this year"

Nobody cares about basketball

Arguably there were still one or two reasons to keep Les Miles. There are no reasons to keep Johnny Jones. Seems like fans are pretty unanimous in firing Jones.

Miles by far but I'm suprised you didn't add Minari to the choices lol
