Sounds like Kelly recognized Wilson was dealing behind him and wanted him gone. No idea, but that would make sense.

What does that mean?

Not saying this is false, but how does Bruce get this info?

Only Verge Ausberry would know what kind of confrontation took place but I don't see him benefiting from the leaking of this to the press.

I can't imagine Frank Wilson really believes he's going to be the head coach at LSU. I mean come on, the guy flamed out at UTSA and LSU is going to name him head coach?

Maybe, just maybe, Kelly played Woody and is going to get a pretty damn nice deal to go away. Forced LSU’s hand and technically they will owe him the full buyout unless they come to an agreement on a smaller buyout in a lump sum, which again maybe be better for Kelly.

Woodward is the biggest bitch in all of this. Are people forgetting when he forced Pelini on O and then dumbass O insisted on running a 4-3 with 3-4 personnel?

Woody is also the genius that sacrificed Wade to protect said football that did jack shite in that time and hired McSuck and guaranteed him too much.

I’m kind of curious who else Kelly wanted to fire. And really curious who Scott Woodward would feel the need to protect?

Kelly fired back that he wanted to make other staff moves Woodward wasn’t comfortable with.

I read that as Kelly wanted to fire some of this staff, just not Sloan and that Woodward was not comfortable with Kelly telling him he was keeping Sloan regardless of who else he fired?

And don’t forget he was Texas A&M’s AD when they hired Fisher and got him a 10 year deal!

I’m just answering a question. They asked what does “dealing behind his back mean?” I don’t think he thinks he will be the long term coach but jr obviously wanted BK out and maybe offered to take the reigns temporarily.

It’s nice to know there are so many on this board who seem to be in the know about said buyout…. When actually they don’t know crap

If BK fired Sloan, who would have been running the offense? Kelly has not held offensive duties in well over 10 years and there is no way he was going to take on that accountability.

My guess is this is what BK saw as a no win for him and a worse outcome to his self perceived reputation of an offensive guy. bK may have heard the play calls during the game but it does not appear he understood what those play calls were.

The 3rd down call before the half seems to be evident of that. bK was miffed on the call after the fact. He had a sideline convo with Nuss and Nuss was seen pointing up to the box. Then you see the vid of BK having a convo with Sloan about it. If BK has final say, then why was he surprised of the call after the play??

The situation then escalated, with the head coach pushing back hard against his boss. “It went bad fast,”

Wait, so Kelly really wasn’t soft?
