I would be tickled for Bama to be in decline but they just lost two road games at Neyland and Tiger Stadium by a total of four points. Consider me skeptical that things are crashing down around Nick over in T Town.

Anybody giving odds on a Dan Mullen recycle at OC? The brand brings the talent.

I don't believe bama is just going to fall off a cliff. With Saban there they will always be competing for the top of the sec west. With that said the new college football with transfers and money deals will make it harder for bama to have a monopoly on top players. The one thing I have noticed with bama in the last few years is there lack of top talent on the oline and dline. They went a whole decade with both groups dominant. I think not having dominant lines has made them beatable.

Saban will continue to have success but his days of dominance are over

Kids are too free to move on so depth suffers which Saban has relied on for years. Guys got hurt… plug in another equally talented guy. Now he can’t do that as easily.

True. The only championship they’ve won in 5 years is the Covid year playing in empty stadiums against a watered down schedule due to many teams being without key players

Of course the aggies also had a nice year that year and cling desperately to it. Neither fanbase will admit the Covid year is an asterisk in everyone else’s mind. The year that might as well have been cancelled. Nobody outside of those two communities even talks about that year lol

I think the days of dominance are over for all teams since we now have both NIL and the portal.

The expanded playoffs could create some parity too. It won’t happen frequently, but there will be times when a lower seed gets lucky knocks off a top seed.

I love that we have a top coach who can maximize all the talent our brand attracts.

But luck is going to be more important in winning championships than it was before.

Them winning the Championship in 2020 literally debunks your claim that the Dynasty was over in 2019.

No. Nor does LSU winning the championship in 2019 establish a dynasty.

The dynasty ended when they were no longer dominating college football. That was 2010 to 2017.

Yeah Bama just signed nine five stars as part of the highest ranked class in history. Oh and their two losses last year were to top 10 teams on the road on the last play. Oh and they beat the national champion the previous season to win the SEC. Oh and they went undefeated the season before that.

Yep decline is apparent.

When we beat them in ‘19, people were on the radio immediately after the game call for his head. And they just won it the year before!

and if Jimbo could call a decent play on last play they could have lost to aTm at home...
