You’ve quite literally made my point for me. Nobody in America outside of the LSU sports Circle knows who this guy is. I’m not even ragging on him at all, I think his success is incredible.

But nobody in America gives a shite about someone who does pole vault unless the athlete has a pretty face, and a fat arse - and tbh, the pretty face is optional

You would be incorrect. Pro track and field is very big in Europe with attendance and tv attracting serious numbers. Plus he gets very big appearance fees as one of the superstars of the T&F circuit. Additionally he gets major tax breaks by being a Swede. And he got the Swedish hot model for a wife too!
