If it's really possible for TS to register on the Richter scale... Why don't fans try to make it happen again? Let make this happen in 2012!

The first earthquake would have been at the end of the '79 USC game if we had completed one of those Hail Marys....

I hope we have a 3 hour earthquake on Nov. 3...

Its hard to imagine that the blocked FG at the end of regulation against Bama in '08 didn't record one. That went from pin drop to deafening in a second.

I thought every game makes a little earthquake?
That's what I heard

Sounds like a job for the Tiger Athletic Foundation--a seismograph housed in a special building next to Mike's cage/estate.

STOP... we don't need anymore reasons for them to increase TAF dues.

I read an article about this a while back, but yeah they said just about every game makes enough noise to register.

The moment when they announced USC lost to Stanford during the Florida game in 07 would have DEFINITELY registered.

Completely agree with this, and one of the most memorable moments in Tiger Stadium that I have ever been a part of.

Never happen again! Not enough people left in the stands in the 4th quarter.

+1

I was in the student section during that game and I had ear pain because of the noise. Only time that's ever happened to me.

Won't even need to discuss the spectacular YEARLY collapses heading to or in the CWS...it's just laughable, over and over and over again....go noles, on to the next big FAIL !

"ear pain" happens to THOUSANDS of fans each year @ MSU...either the artificial noisemakers OR the obnoxiously loud scoreboard blaring hip hop and ads ALL game long = the most annoying stadium experience in the nation, by FAR !

And if Beckwith(?) had run left after picking it up and ran it back for a TD, Tiger Stadium would have had to have been rebuilt...
I can't imagine the noise if that had happened...
