Do we have any idea when Robertson is projected to go, assuming he hasn't told teams he will be coming back?

Least prestigious sport in NCAA? You sure about that?

Ell, if I had been blessed with the unbelievable skills of someone like Nola or Bregman, I wouldn't have walked away until I won a championship or ran out of eligibility.

I just can't believe someone actually posted this with a straight face.

IF Kramer leaves, the first domino to fall that will change the entire lineup will be Dawson. I'm hoping he can improve at the plate much like Andrew Stevenson did. If he can be serviceable at the plate then he locks down SS, and the rest of the infield remains the same IMO.

If he can't, then Freeman likely moves to SS and a combination of lochridge and Reid take 3B and 2B.

We've also got Slaughter and Smith both getting time at SS in wooden bat leagues this summer before getting to campus. Smith is on a 3 game hit streak, BTW. Zach Watson is also listed as a SS. But we really don't have any guys listed as OF. Slaughter and Watson could compete for OF spots and both have the speed to eventually play CF.

ETA: Watson is already on campus but the draft isn't off the table for him at this point.

Never said Reid would sit. Just said that this was the only logical way I can see all them getting on the field. I would never put a first time outfielder in right field and I don't think beau can move over to right.

It will be very interesting to see where Deichmann gets innings in summer ball if he doesn't sign.

I get that feeling as well

I had a very brief conversation with Kramer's mom in South Bend. (Before the usual critics show up accusing me of name dropping, the encounter with Kramer's mom was strictly by chance because we ended up standing next to each other at the breakfast buffet one morning in the team's hotel.)

I told her I've really enjoyed watching her son develop and become a team leader this season.

She seemed to appreciate hearing that.

She said "he's never had so much fun playing on any team in any sport as he has this year."

I said that's really saying something considering he's almost had his front teeth knocked out twice this year.

She laughed and said something about 'after all the money I paid to his orthodontist when he was growing up.' She was very gracious.

I just got the feeling from her words that it will take a lot to keep Kramer from returning one more year now that he's enjoying so much what he's worked so hard for in college. But maybe that's just me being hopeful....

What are the odds Slaughter makes it to campus?

We could really use his leadership next year. He plays loose and has fun, but channels intensity when needed. That style rubs off on teammates.

Unfortunately, you have to think there will be some transfers after the season. A lot of players at the same positions next year if the draft shakes out as we expect.

This. Don't see him on any of the Cape Cod League rosters as of right now, but that could be a project for him to get some work in.

There will pretty much have to be some transfers. I have 48 guys on my eligibility tracker for next year. The draft will not clear out 13 of them.

This was the first thing I thought when Lester said only Poche and Fraley will sign. If that happens, we're talking about a lot of attrition from the current roster.

The Bourne Braves tweeted out about him after he got the grand slam against Rice, but I don't see him on their roster right now. That seems to be where he'll land though as they like to promote guys with a connection to their team but he hasn't played for them before. He was in the Northwoods league last year.

I can think of 4 reasonable candidates right off the top of my head, they don't all free up scholarship money but they free up roster spots. I don't like to speculate on attrition, but if I do, I will not name names.

Have you accounted for Valek and Devall being seniors?
