Everyone was hating on him for the longest because he was playing timid and we knew he had the potential! Now you’re seeing that potential fulfilled and on display

Did he see Nuss play, or nah?
Yes he did see him go 0 for 2 with a kneel down at the end.

The gap between burrow and Daniels is much smaller than the gap between Daniels and whomever you think is the next best Lsu QB

Fans thought Daniels was afraid of letting the ball go. But seeing his progression we have learned that Daniels isn’t afraid of anything or anyone. He can and will do it all.

JD was THE difference-maker in this game.....his running ability constantly flummoxed Mizzou.....simply put, we don't win without him....

Agreed.
Daniel’s is on pace to hit just under 4k yards passing and 40 tds passing over the coarse of 12 regular season games……….And he is as elite a running qb as has ever played college football. Honestly Mike Vick……Lamar Jackson………guys like that are the only ones on his level running with the ball as a qb. Has an amazing attitude to go with it.
All of this is true. I sure as hell hope the defense can improve just a bit so we can enjoy his greatness even more.

Actually, there is. He might be higher. And he has time to sink lower.

There are still out there - hard as that is to believe. But most of those few left have an underlying reason.

He's really good, no doubt about it.
I saw some improvement on d. Nothing extreme, but they had some stops in the 2nd half. Maybe they pull it out.

I think I heard some post game commentator say Mizzou scored on only 2 of their last 8 possessions, not sure if that's true but if so that's at least something to build on.

Daniels is having an amazing year but people need to pump the brakes a bit. Burrow was doing this shite against Alabama and Georgia. Hopefully Daniels keeps it up through the tough part of our schedule but I’m not putting up there with Burrow until I see that.

Interesting that you call me out when I’ve been 100% right about JD. What’s your problem?

Burrow had as many wins against Alabama as JD and like burrow, JD also played great that game against them. He also wasn’t the reason we lost the Georgia game.

Some of the fan base. Probably (hopefully) a vocal minority.

Jayden Daniels could go 2-0 vs Alabama with a worse defensive cast than Joe Burrow.

It's not really debatable. If we had just an average defense LSU would be pretty much unbeatable. Not a good defense, just one that could get a few stops per game.
Frick even if we had a below average defense instead of literally among the 10 or so worst in all of college football. Infuriating
