It doesn't matter, LSU only scores runs after the 7th inning. We are doomed when SEC play starts.
right...our 2-0 SEC series record and overal 5-1 SEC record would disagree with your "doomed" diagnosis ... and albeit against Tulane, 5 runs in the first inning.
what was that about not scoring in the first?

right and SC is struggling as well. 2 out of 3 is must with a sweep very possible. I'm just putting out info really, nothing more.

Maybe he means that he is decent compared to the other Missouri pitchers.

looks like a decent pitcher.
Those numbers in terms of being an ace type Friday night pitcher in the SEC suck........nuff said.

Just a general exclamation at the memory of Hawthorne's call of the ULL game.

Rob Zastryzny has been pretty good for us in the big games. He threw 8 shutout innings against Texas in the opener of the Big XII Tournament last year then came back to start the championship game on three day's rest and managed to keep us in the game.
To be honest we have been spoiled with our Friday night guys over the years (recently). From 2005-2009 it was Max Scherzer, then Aaron Crow, then Kyle Gibson. All three first round picks. In 2010 it was Nick Tepesch who is going to be the #5 for the Texas Rangers this year. I have to brag about all of that because there isn't as much to brag about currently. Rob is a tough kid but he isn't a guy you can count on to throw up a bunch of zeroes.
Anyhow I am looking forward to seeing him battle Nola. Maybe our small crowd, cold weather, and mediocre lighting will help us.

Our lights did used to have a reputation. This is a Larry Hays (former Texas Tech coach) quote in 2005:
"We played good," Hays said. "We pitched really well. The sky and playing with these lights, you'd like to get mad at somebody for that. The first night, we got out here and tried to pick the ball up, and I got out in the outfield and I couldn't do it, and that hurt."
Now that was after we no hit them and beat them 25-0 on a Friday night. But still. He did not like our lights.

I would think that in 8 years, Jamieson has had time to fix any issues with the lights at the park.
Looking forward to the series. I have a lot of Mizzou fans in my family. One of cousins friends from HS used to be a coach there before he left for TCU. Vitello.
