Who got the error? I just turned it on at the start of the inning.

I forget the Missouri player's name but he drilled a ball that went underneath Berry's glove on the ground.
Berry had little time to react. Ronnie and Lyn were both wondering if it would go down as a hit. It was in either the second or third inning.

Berry had a two-hopper smoked through his legs at 3rd.

3M never delivered the crookedness, but we won, so I don't care

Anyone else find it strange that they walked Berry to set up the double play and then did not play their infield at double play depth?

Only one that I didn’t get was leaving in Cooper to face the righty with two on in the 10th.

There was no way the top of our lineup wasn’t going to score once they brought in the righty reliever.

Yeah. I would have brought any lefty on my roster in instead of a righty. Not sure why he took out lefty. He had LSU hitters off balance.

I see us completing the sweep tomorrow to go to 10-8. Then, we average 2-1 over the final four weekends and finish 18-12 - maybe 17-13. Host a regional.

Like why are we PH lefty Stevenson for lefty Gio? It worked, thank God, but if you think he’s the better hitter, why not start him?

A couple of thoughts here.

1. He feels Stephenson hits better than Gio against RHPs, but started Gio against the lefty.

2. Stephenson was in a slump so he gave Gio a shot, but he didn’t deliver.

Because he wanted to see if Gio could get going. Stevenson is a player and will be starting full time next year. As far as Cooper dude has pitched in a lot of clutch innings for Jay and he trusts him.

I will strive to better going forward. I bough Marlboros for someone a couple of hours ago. I don't smoke, but I put a huge dent in this bottle of Makers. Cheers, Cheer!

Ok good. Other than that, how was the fielding? Did thompson and doughty have any issues?

I just think they weren’t going to let the best hitter in college baseball beat them
