The key for Brown is the timing of his blinks

The biggest difference you can easily tell between college players and big leaguers is catching fly balls. College guys will make the outs but even on routine fly balls they drift all over the place and end up reaching off center and stabbing at it. MLB guys just drift the spot and squeeze it.

I notice it all the time

I’m always surprised Skenes gets more cheers than Crews when they do the Tigers in the Majors thing on the Jumbotron in Alex Box

These pitchers just do not understand the situation. You’re up 6 and just will not throw strikes on a consistent basis.

So you think they weren’t throwing strikes because they didn’t “understand the situation?” And if they realized with a big lead that it’s good to throw strikes that they would have done that? Can I ask, what situation do you think there is where pitchers don’t want to throw strikes and walk people?

I’ve been in the northwestern part of West Virginia and it is absolutely beautiful. Wild, wonderful West Virginia indeed.

I mean Skenes is a cultural icon at this point. He’ll probably go down as the greatest baseball player to ever wear an lsu jersey
