LSU can't get something smaller than an adult XXXXL for the kids who do the whataburger game?

Shores definitely showed improvement this go around. By the end of the year I expect he will be an above average to good.

If anything, I'd think today's radars are more accurate. So maybe 95 then WAS 100.

It’s really this. But people now try to do reverse math to say Nolan Ryan threw 107+ because of where they used to read pitch speed (closer to the plate), and discount the reliability of the equipment measuring speed. No, Nolan Ryan wasn’t throwing 107

the technology is still radar. It is simply where it is being measured. Closer to the plate versus from the hand. If you’ve heard 95, you would know it. Why most believe Ryan was by far throwing harder than anyone today. When you’re 46 and your last pitch was 98 after 5000Ks, imagine what it was when he was 25.

The location they clock the pitch at has changed. This is common knowledge. Now they clock it just after leaving the pitchers hand. They once did it right near the plate thenI think about 20 feet in front of the plate. The pitch is slowing down between those points by a bit.

So on average sprinters run faster than they did 30 years ago, people jump higher and farther, swim faster etc. but guys don’t throw harder. All the baseball training that guys do these days and they don’t throw harder? Is that just this this generation compared to its predecessor or are we thinking Randy Johnson throws no harder than Old Hoss Radbourn?

Ben Joyce throws faster than guys 25 years ago.

Ware has a 4 pitch mix. I'd prefer 2 pitches that he can throw over the plate.
