He has bunted twice right back to the pitcher. Not what you are trying to do as a bunter. It worked but not what he is taught to do.

It’s fine to bunt like he has trying to advance the runner to second. Not so much trying to get a guy in from home

We’ve now given away a full inning of outs by bunting. All the math in baseball says these bunts are a bad idea.
