Bama had 5 turnovers.
Still part of the game though. Ole Miss didn't, and won.

I have no concern. The only question is to what extent. Fournette will get somewhere between 100 and 200, possibly more, and since his minimum is 150 now, it is anyone's guess as to whether Bama rises up to keep him under 150 or not. If Harris is reasonable close to what we have seen the last few weeks, I am going to guess He gets about 28 carries for 175. If he squares those shoulders 20+ times, and if JD Moore is game-ready, it will not surprise me if he breaks the 250 mark. Alley Broussard would have to take a bow if that happens, and it is definitely a possibility.

That question is pretty easy to answer. The ACTUAL question is,

"Can Bama run on LSU?"

Came to ask this. NO doubt we can run effectively against anyone after we handled UF well up front. I don't know if anyone can run well against us, especially without a stud QB like Doughty or Prescott.

All homerism aside, yes. After watching them vs Tenn, I've no doubt. Sure, they will be rested and motivated come game time. But so will LSU.

LF will have >100 yards and 2 TDs. Take it to the bank.

Not if we spread them out and use multiple formations and motion.

We'll run it down Alabamas throat, but it wouldn't happen against any NFL team.

I'd say the real million dollar question is, "can Alabama run on LSU?".

Yes. The real question is can LSU stop Bamas passing? Kitten uses creative formations to create mismatches.

this is what worries me. We've had receivers slipping down the field uncovered all year. Kiffen has some creative formations where I can see him exploiting this.

6-7 man fronts LSU will run all over them. And vice versa.
This one is most likely to go to the QB that plays best minus fumbles or special team blunders.
Neither team really knows what they have in the passing game.
LSU plays well over there but I wish this one 1 was in TS.
Flip a coin.

Just asking for thoughts... Bama's defense is pretty stout. Can the Tigers run on them?

No doubt in my mind, LSU can run on anybody. Last year we ran on them, we just couldn't throw. Harris play will be the difference maker, along with O line play, and defense.

Being able to get out of bad plays mostly but being at home could keep the adversity manageable for our QB
Harris has been precision almost robotic which is amazing. He's not getting enuf credit for his poise maturity and running this offense like a surgeon. But he stares down Dural and hasn't dealt with major adversity. But u are correct it's always been tough over there and we seem to do better there. Who knows nervous as a deer here.

Coach Cameron does the same thing (create mismatches), albeit a different approach. It is one reason why he puts Dupre in the slot so much. He is always looking to get a 6'3" WR on a 5'10" DB. Our running game is such a threat, that I cannot recall the last time I saw a field SO WIDE OPEN like I did against Western Kentucky. With 8-9 in the box, Dupre looked almost alone on the first TD throw by BH6, on post routes I am used to seeing a safety or two back there. We have been getting ALOT of one on one matchups because of our running game. If Bama loads up the box, I look for us to challenge them deep. The difference is that Bama will have 4/5 star DB's playing for them.

Remember, assuming makes and arse-out-of u-and -me.
SEC refs have been biased for Ala. since the offices became permanent in Birmingham. Rare to get a completely fair game called in the state.

If Harris can keep them honest, which he can, and we use enough shotgun/spread, which we probably will, then we will be able to run on them.

CAn we RuN on them? Yes

Will we be able to run on them consistently enough to win the game? only if we keep them honest with the pass and use a lot of shotgun/spread to give Fournette the room to run.

So the answer is YES and/or NO depending on Miles/Cam

If we just line up in the I and try to pound them, forget about it. NOt going to work.

but do you notice, nobody else on the team gets that. that is because the runner's vision and instincts are really good.

This just isn't remotely supported by any evidence. His backup(Guice) averages 1.6 more yards per carry than Fournette does. How is he not getting good holes too?

Or are you talking about Henry? Post was confusing.

7 is going to destroy them. He will run for 180+ with 3 TDs, burn down the stadium, piss on the ashes, and take all the womenz.

This is happening. They need to accept it.
