And what did he say?

He basically said that a statement needed to be made and that there will be players that will stay and some will go if they feel they should.

Basically it was unfortunate and the penn state community should be positive and come together, remember the victims, and hope for the best. And he said we gonna kick arse this year.

Let's hope Les cleaned up the recruiting holes if he's going to go out and give his input on another program's sanctions.

2nd the "why?" who else will be summoned to speak about this? how about a 2 hour special with former players and a weekly call-in show for pros and cons from the fans? Buffalo wild wings could be their sponsor

well then its all about sensational journalism and not about proper judgement or appropriate administration. The NCAA has created more victims with their psuedo authority and sanction rendering. too far is too far. Sandusky is in Jail and administration is turned over, you people won't be happy till someone is hanged or burned alive.

seriously? As I remember, the ncaa came out immediately after the suspensions and year probation annoucement and basically said that every program should be as accountable as lsu.

Certainly there was some sincere, albeit inappropriate contact there and people were put in precarious positions of institutional compromise. PSU clearly came in 2nd to the NCAA in this one.

And who exactly is """""you people"""""" ????????
I don't think any one on this board has acted like that; nor do I believe Les Miles said anything other than with the utmost restraint and diplomacy.
He was """asked""" to give his opinion on this simply because the ruling by Emmert happened to come down during Miles interview tour with ESPN.
It wasn't """"""""""""ONLY"""""""""""" about Paterno and Penn State.
Jesus you are smug self-centered little whiny prick aren't you ????

Did you seriously just compare recruiting violations to what happened at Penn State?

I don't think you have fully grasped the situation at Penn State.
