Start fast with a really quick toss....to Guice who will proceed to dive through the tackles.

I've been watching old LSU broadcasts from the '80s and noticed the Tigers almost always received the ball if they won the toss. That defer thing seemingly gained vogue in the Miles era.

We have some ijits on here.

Put that Indiana feller at QB. Tell him if he sees them other fellers lined up to defend the toss dive, he should holler Omaha a lot. Then he should audible to a slant or screen.

Also, let him know when he throws it he should have a quality want to put it where the running feller on his team can catch it without breaking stride, or having to jump as high as Tyrus Thomas.

This was the case in 2014. Miles came out trying to pound the ball, didn't work, we got in a huge hole. Ended up throwing for 300+ yards on them but couldn't dig out of it.

Expect Miles to run it.

Can't stand Miles.

Why? So he can take it easy in the 2nd half? Oh how I loathe anything he says now because he's full of it

So.... You're suggesting toss dive right instead of left to start it off? -Les

Blocking and catching will help, as will tackling on defense...

If he really wants to start fast he will put the best interest of the team ahead of his own ego and stay the hell away from the offensive play calling . He won't.

By coming out and establishing a rhythm in the passing game early by taking what the defense gives us and getting positive yards on first down.

this is it.

We don't need to do anything except take what the defense gives us. Positive plays and put drives together. Move the chains. Wear the defense down, then and only then start pounding them with the running game.

Would like to see at least 50/50 run to pass to start the game.

Miles wants a fast start?

And I want to frick Selma Hayek.

Given Miles' offense and my station in life, neither are likely to happen.
