Lol direct quotes right from what you are “reading”

To say then Chase didn’t want to do it is hilarious. He never wanted to do it.

Most people here wanted Jimbo Fisher as Les Miles replacement. Get over it. People aren’t always right. Mistakes are made sometime.

Is this the weekly thread where we ignore literally all factual information and measurable metrics to say Les Miles was the worst recruiter ever, never won big games and had zero success?

OK, what in the frick is that supposed to prove. Was Miles a mind reader?

Looked at who? Les Miles, no, not Les Miles.

You dont need to put reading in quotes, we are actually reading.

Great, he should have said so then. Instead his camp said "yeah", then they said no and that is that.

Why is this hard for you

Oh, so he was in his office, expecting an offer and knew that Miles wanted him at DB? Then when directly asked about it they said yes.

Yeah, why would Miles have ever thought he may be ok with the move.

Good grief you are lost. You don't even know what position people are taking. You're just making them up

and to make his non position even more crazy, he now says that Miles had been pursuing Chase as a DB since earlier in his recruitment.

So Chase is at LSU, outside the office of the coach that has been recruiting him as a DB seemingly looking for an offer from said coach. But is completely flabbergasted by the offer to play DB for LSU.

Yes, and subliminal thoughts played out three years later carry more weight than the words that were said.

I don't see the big deal with this. It happens all the time. Saban thought Michael Clayton would've been better as a safety...doesn't mean he might not have been and the same in this case.

History is full of examples of this kind of thing, as well as examples of coaches wanting a player to switch only to have them refuse and go on to great success at their original position.

The only reason this is being brought here is because we're still finding it necessary to shite on Miles. Which is odd, because I've been told on numerous occasions that the only people that keep bringing up Miles are Miles lovers.

Basically what we're being asked to do is sit back and allow anything to be said about the guy and not respond at all. It's not so much that we're tired of hearing about Miles...shitting on him nonstop is fine. it's that we have no interesting in debating the issues any longer.

What's next...asking Chicken to de-platform anyone that dares defend the fricking guy here?

It’s not that huge of a deal other than the fact that Miles still did not offer him a scholarship that day as a WR lol.

Same shite happened with Etienne, who ran for 3k yards as a Jr and still wasn’t good enough for ole les

I'm sure this happens all the time. Look at Marshall Faulk everyone was recruiting him for DB and SDSU was only team that recruited him to be a RB. I am sure it all evens out.

When did this exchange take place? Someone mentioned drills so I assume between his sophomore and junior seasons, or was it earlier?

I have no idea.

But he either knew Miles was recruiting him as a DB and should not have been shocked. Or he did not know and it means that he was recruited as a DB one day as the article states they considered him a WR after that incident.
