-We love Jefferson's heart and desire to get more yards, but we also would like him to get some yards and get down more often.

-Locker's mobility presented problems in the first half

-Helton didn't perform up to his capability. That's not him, and we know he will do better.

-No huddle offense and calling plays at the linie was specific to this game and this environment (crowd, etc)

-Wanted to get Sheppard in, but because we only had 45 plays on offense, the right situation never presented itself ... we didn't want to put him in in a tight game and allow the potential for a youthful mistake.

Now if you could have done that from the get go, you wouldn't get sarcastic responses.

-Tackling in the first half was the biggest issue on defense. Tackle and the first half is a lot different.

-Patrick Peterson is going to be special at LSU.

-Washington was loading up the box, and prevented us from getting any real ground game going in the first half.

-Defensive line pressure has to improve, although defense was on the field 84 snaps, which is not typical.

-We wanted to ease Jefferson in as he continues to mature and get comfortable as the starter.

-Jake Locker is going to be a first round draft pick, and Polk is an excellent back.

So basically we did not learn anything new... I am now dumber for reading this thread

Thanks for the info.

And it is apparent that Miles read the Rant on his way home from Seattle and is now just saying everything that was said on the board in an attempt to appease all rantards. No way he actually recognized the issues that need correcting.

What did he say about the Defense earlier?

FWIW, he thought the Malveto clusterfrick defense was well coached, too.
