""""Lee should have been put in anyway"""""

"Bingo" Question:

If I were JL and I would have just lost it, started getting some guys on the team to stand by me and go up to LM and say play me and the other support him or all threaten to quit. In other words overthrow the President/a Coup

This is the final game, lose we are out/ its win at all cause and all the players were not in this. See Reuben R only 3-4 yards down field, no one was excited with JJ in the game.

All the starters should have united and requested a change in the locker room.

My question is do you think this could ever happen and consequesnces involving all players, coaches, etc...?????

down 15-0 you are still in it at that point. make a change if for no other reason allow JJ to watch what was going on from the sidelines- he certainly was not seeing it with the view he had at the helm. It became very clear that Miles had no intention to ever put Lee in. I do not buy LM response at all. Lee is a competitor just like others on the team - ask him if he thought it would be "fair" to put him in and give him a shot.

After the first three and out of the second half JL should have gone in ! Would J. Lee's interceptions been worse than JJ's ?

Why did Miles have enough sense last year to put him in when the Tigers fell behind and JJ looked like crap? You get in the biggest game of these kids career and you don't give a proven senior a chance to give the team a spark and try to win the national championship game. Les is either an arse or a moron or both. The body language of the team told the story. Even after JJ threw a pick and then yelled at one of the players trying to block for him. Les left him in. This is beyond stupid. It is sick.

yea except for the fact that Bama never put more the 7 in the box the entire night and kept the safeties at 15 yards at the least.

Well, the numbers back him up passing wise.

Oh?

Stats do not count the NC game, to give JJ a fighting chance.

Jefferson:
50/83 60% 684YDS 6TD 1INT 10SACKS
For those scoring at home, that's 1 sack per 5 completions. If we count the NC game, the numbers get much, much worse.

Lee:
104/167 62% 1306YDS 14TD 3INT 4SACKS
One sack per 26 completions.

Hidden in those numbers are Jarrett Lee's ZERO sacks on 3rd or 4th down with 53 pass attempts, and Jefferson's 3 sacks on 3rd or 4th down on only 19 attempts. Again, these numbers do not count the NC game.

Also, Lee's QB rating is better on 2nd down than first, and better on 3rd than 2nd. Jefferson's is exactly opposite. Lee's rating is also pretty steady by quarter, while Jefferson's numbers steadily dwindle as the game wears on.

So, again, which QB is the elusive one who makes plays with his feet?

I'm sure Lee's quick release and deep balls would have bailed him out of the pass rush.

If you believe anything Les says about the JJ/Lee debate, then your head is buried in the sand. JJ felt and Les treated him as if he were entitled to be the starting QB. I never believed Les when he said JJ was the better QB over the summer. It didn't matter how bad(as we saw) JJ played, Lee was never gonna see the field. If Lee comes in and plays lights out, then the fans would have also jumped on Les. He protected both himself and JJ. But last nights loss had more to do with preparedness of this LSU team than anything else. We didn't have a plan B, and that sucked!

Maybe JL wouldn't have thrown the shovel pass to the Bama LB.

After that play, I was seriously like you have got to be fricking kidding me.

I felt like it would be unfair to him with the pass rush that he would sustain to put him in late in that game

Funny how Les never thought it was unfair to put Lee in that position when he faced Bama the first game and Jefferson was on the sidelines.

bullshite. Guy is reaching for straws, and it's not even a really good attempt either.

If he genuinely believes that JJ can "throw in a like fashion" then he is an admitted incompetent.
