I don't believe this because it conflicts with my irrational fear that the program is already destroyed.

Jimbo got out as soon as he realized that Miles was contagious.

Would you take the OC job knowing you'd be forced by the HC to start JJ for 2 more years?

Better career #s than the alternative, actually.

Miles mentions interviewing is what gave him the opportunity to meet Dave Aranda. What made him hire some of those Offensive coaches? The dude from UGA who lasted 1 year? The white guy we hired from Florida to turn Russell Shepard into Percy Harvin? The Stud OC promotion when Krags came.down with parks? He had some homerun staff hires but also his share of duds.

AU? Steele was a stopgap for Arranda.

#3 all time offensive scoring and #3 ppg.

I'll give you Gonzales from UF

Total offensive rankings his years at TAMU. Only one of those is better than LSU just had, relative to the rest of college football. And there are people here who think this past year was awful offensively.

Top 10 and Top 15 team, better than LSU just had. So there's that.
FWIW I don't agree with anything that's going on since the regime change and was just being factual.
The truth is normally somewhere in the middle.

Smart man. He knew what that would lead to.

Having watched Miles’ OCs since 2009, I easily believe an OC candidate turned down a job running Miles’ crappy excuse for offense.

He’s got a chip on his shoulder as we all can see by watching his press conference, and that chip is gonna be growing all offseason as more and more people talk sh*t.
I’m a real fan. So I support The coaches until they do something immoral.
I think there’s real potential with this coaching staff, and if we have success next year, the staff will only continue to get better.

He was not an inspiring hire to begin with.

did you not watch prior to that? because 06 and 07 were a couple of our best offenses. 08 wasn't necessarily bad either, just really Int-prone. I was surprised Les didn't rein in Crowton's playcalling that year.

Miles liked his ability as an OC? Oh shite. It is worse than I thought.

I use 2009 as a starting point because I think 2008 was some kind of transition for Miles. With very few exceptions he throttled back offense after 2008 and relied on defense.

I realize that bashing the Esminger hire is very popular right now but, has anybody considered that he is the right guy for the job.

I really think that people need to calm down and wait and see how this works out. We will know a lot more in the spring game.
