is this unusual? I can't imagine not talking to my boss for days. But that may be how it works in an athletic department.

i'm pretty sure that miles is "embattled" right now and is hunkered down to only prep the team for Saturday. he probably is sneaking out of the practice facility and avoiding any contact with john q public and esp any media hack.
