From a few people that know him, he is getting it this time. Remember, we were undefeated and raked in the top 5 when we headed to T-town last year, then the wheels came off, and Miles got a lot of sympathy from the media for a rough 3 game patch. With 11 games to go and AU, FL, OM, AL, AR, TAM in front of him, there is little chance we run the table. In fact, there is a great chance that we have three losses before November, and even Miles knows its the end.

I don't believe it. He could look me in my eye and tell me he has learned his lesson, and I still wouldn't believe it.

You Serious clark?

There is literally not one person on this board that loves LSU enough to retire and give away $15M.

You guys asking him to step down are nuts.

If he's getting it then why doesn't he do something about the damn offense. This is not rocket science. Use the whole damn field. Block your man. Catch the damn ball. Tackle. If your plan isn't working, do something different. WTF? He makes $4,3m a year. FIGURE IT OUT!

He has lost his edge coaching on the field and is stubborn as a sugarcane field mule, but he is competitive and has an ego. He believed he could turn it around and run out his contract. Don't think he doesn't know the disgust in Tiger Nation this time around.

I assume he likes his job and likes his salary. I don't fault him for wanting to keep his job. I fault the higher ups for not firing him.

I thought this was one of those bumped threads from last year when I saw the title.

He was ok with being fired. Reday to move on, knew his time had come and gone, then F Alexander throws his an unwanted lifeline for PR purposes.

He was ready to retire be fired last year.

State is broke and LSU was told by the State not to ask for money if they buy out his contract. This is why we're fricked.

He openly said multiple times today he was hearing the noise. Only way he even mentions that is if he has no solution and recognizes the eventual outcome. He thought he could pull out another rabbit from his hat, but came up empty. Long and ugly season ahead.

Not only do i not believe you... i will never believe this sentiment... he is the only one who doesnt see what is happening... his actions and words have only reinforced the fact that he doesnt get it

He says they want to put up 50pts and 600yds a game

He acknowledges we have some of the best talent in the land who are more than capable of doing it

He doesnt understand HE is the reason it is not happening... and under him, it never will!!

There is only one issue with this team, and its him

I think he was ready to get bumped last year and become a colorful ex-coach with a ring and a national reputation. However, it is hard to give up $15m and for competitive guys, they always want to go out on top. Sadly, Les (and Cam) don't know how to do that anymore.

Well, last time I checked LSU football finances itself to the tune of 120 million dollars..plus private money is ready to do this deal....

so the governor can go buy a kayak...we don't care what he thinks
