Certainly didn't appear so from his press conference. Other than being more Elmer Fudd-like than usual, he seemed a mixture of denial that there was a problem and defiance about making any changes.

It would be something like this:

quote:

"Ok I have a want to understand that our fans are unhappy with us coming in second in 4 of the last 6 games. I think if we could have completed a few more passes and some were TD's we would be celebrating victory instead of talking about our shortcomings. I know now if I do not come up with some quality victories soon I fear I will be let go"

I hope you and Les realize floating the poor Uncle Les narrative aren't going to work like they did Thanksgiving week for him. Just like his offense, he's going with the only thing he knows.

Really? He didn't get it at the end of last season?Yes he gets it. You can tell when he said just 5 more pass completions and breaking a few runs would have made the difference or Harris threw a couple of nice passes at the end of the game. Pleeeeeeeeeese stop.

His press conference in a nutshell:

Harris wasn't good enough, if a couple more runs had gone for TDs the offense would have looked better, and the defense didn't play well enough.

Yep, Miles definitely gets it.

He was ok with being fired. Reday to move on, knew his time had come and gone, then F Alexander throws his an unwanted lifeline for PR purposes.

He was ready to retire be fired last year.

I've heard this line of reasoning before. That Miles is ready to do something else.

It kind of makes sense. Give it one last shot with all this talent on his team. If it works, great, if not, ok, time to do something else.

I think the tell-tale sign was his opening at SEC Media days where he spent the first 10 minutes or whatever talking about everything but football.

He'll be gone before the end of the season if he's out of contention for the SECW at the end October.

miles sure did not look to upset prior to the TAMU game after knowing it was his last. Had whole family on field pre-game. players carried him off. don't tell me he did not know he was GONE!

now he is laughing at alleva and Facking alexander.

I really don't think he GAF.

I don't know you and I'm not trying to insult you....but....I think Miles has trouble knowing what day it is. I will believe this only after I see him do something about it.....and even then....I still won't believe it.
