Again how can you score Les than zero points?

This time one bazillion. I can throw a duck about 10 - 15 yards and I could have scored zero.

It's easy to say this, but the reality is it had been more than 2 months since Lee took any significant game snaps. And go back and read my post -- I said Les DID screw up by not preparing 2

But it seems as if they did have a package for Lee

This plus scoreboard. The OP is wrong but that's ok.

As another poster said in another thread, there is no way to get negative points in football. You can't get less than zero. Therefore, there is no way that JL could have done any worse than JJ.

It is a joke to sit here and say that Lee isn't a realistic option to put in and see if the offense could at least cross the 50 a couple of times.

It's easy to say this, but the reality is it had been more than 2 months since Lee took any significant game snaps. And go back and read my post -- I said Les DID screw up by not preparing 2 QBs over the final 4-5 games of the season when he should have known JJ was capable of sucking like he did. The point I'm making is that on Monday, it was too late to change the strategy of 100% JJ. Les was stuck with him to go the whole way.

This makes no sense, because he did the same thing when he brought JJ in off the bench against Bama the first time. So this completely contradicts what he did when the situation was reversed.

He took JL out the game after 2 mistakes against bama after his production through the games until that point. JJ's production the last few games has been dismal and he just was allowed to continue that lackluster performance until it completely ruined our season.

Miles's screw up, it's really that simple.

You are thinking just like les miles was thinking but i don't think that's gone do u any good on this board. Even I think we should have put happy feet in and let Bama put 40 on us. Don't get me wrong if lee would have came in and won the game i would have bout a I luv lee frick jefferson shirt but it just wasn't gone happen. we all would be getting alone if lee would have played and did what he always do.

Jefferson got WAY more PT before Nov. 5th than Lee did after Nov. 5th. It's not the same thing.

How did Lee manage to beat Oregon? I mean by your thought process he hadnt taken a signigicant snap for a good while. Hell it had been a month since JJ took a significant game snap. And i sure dont know how Mauck did it against Tenn is that Sec Championship in 02

The bigger issue is that Miles completley fricked up the offense because he was insistent on playing Jefferson and benching Lee. I have full confidence we would have beaten WKU, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Georgia with Lee as the starter and JJ as the change of pace option runner.

With Lee at QB we only trailed once against Oregon for like 1 minute. But since he gave full reigns to Jefferson, the offensive production went down. We only scored 14 first half points against WKU, we fell behind 14-0 to Arkansas and 10-0 to Georgia -we were winning in spite of JJ. The only game JJ played where the offense didn't get off to a piss poor start was Ole Miss, and Ole Miss is so terrible we didn't even have to pass against them.

The reality of the situation is Lee had played so-o-o-o little since October that it would have been careless to play him in that situation.

How much did Lee play before getting put in against Tennessee last year in the come from behind win he led us to? He threw 1 pass the week before. Prior to that it was over a year.

And you are saying not playing in a month hurts him?

Ok, so JL's experience up until this moment is null and void...

The times he's come off the bench in situations in his career before mean nothing...

Oh and how big of a mistake could he have made? You can't score negative points in football so how much worse than 0 could he have done?

You're missing the bigger issue: We should not have tailored our entire offense around the deficient skills of JJ for the last 3 years. It was always wrong.

I agree with this, no reason to think JL struggles until possibly the NCG, and if so then bring in JJ. Bama and the world knew JJ was gonna be the guy, was like taking candy from a baby for Saban
